Should've went with my gut and used all my sd's on Super Mario Bros for the second game in a row, but I wasn't confident people hadn't blocked it out completely from their memories.

Man, I really thought everyone would default to From Russia With Love. It was that or Heat that I was going to put all my dunks in. Didn't think everyone would actually pick Mario Bros and was close to putting Street Fighter on there myself.

Yeah, I should have done that too. I just hate putting all my eggs in one basket like that.

I knew watching To Rome With Love would come in handy eventually.
I also should have known that choosing Hard Boiled in 2013 would not do well for me.

Re: A Good Day To Play Sheep

The shootout in Heat was fairly realistic thanks to Andy McNab, former SAS, who provided consultation. Watching their tactics as they flee from the police is an amazing moment in the film.
McNab was technical weapons advisor and trainer on the hit Michael Mann film Heat (1995) and spent five months in Hollywood working closely with Robert De Niro, Al Pacino and Val Kilmer. As well as advising on weapons handling and use, McNab was drafted in to work out in detail how master-thief De Niro would go about pulling off robberies on an armoured car and a bank, and how cop Al Pacino would go about tracking him down and stopping him.

Heat 1972 NR 100 minutes
Paul Morrissey helmed this campy spoof of Sunset Boulevard, direct from Andy Warhol's Factory. As former child star Joey Davis (Joe Dallesandro) works to revive his acting career, he takes up residence in a seedy motel, where he offers sex to his obese landlady (Pat Ast) in exchange for low rent. Meanwhile, he makes friends with the rest of the residents, including a has-been actress (Sylvia Miles) and her lesbian daughter (Andrea Feldman).

Re: A Good Day To Play Sheep
You know, based on the wording of the question:
Name a movie based on an SNL skit released in the 90's
It appears that "released in the 90's" refers to "SNL skit" and not "movie".
As far as I am aware, "SNL skits" are not "released". Therefore, all answers to this question are wrong.

Damn, I was going to pick Heat but figured people would have The Rock in mind from the next question.

D'oh! I was away from the forum for a few hours and missed the early results, but I am hoping to make a big move with the next question!

Couldn't agree more. Even though I knew Hard Boiled probably wouldn't be the best sheep answer. I had to go with it simply because the hospital shootout in that movie was one of many memorable shootouts in Hard Boiled!

Re: A Good Day To Play Sheep
i am so pissed off about the heat answer. It is one of my favorite movies and the first dvd i ever owned. I didn't know so many people liked it on here. I told ivelostr2 the other day, "Heat is the best shootout scene, but I didn't think people would put that, so I put Tombstone."

I love the Killer and Hard Boiled (and Face/Off probably has one of the best gunfights from a Hollywood movie), but come on, man ... it's Sheep.
