I still haven't seen Tarantino's part in Four Rooms.
I also haven't seen Ali or Miami Vice from Michael Mann.

Well depending on the director it may not be possible to see all their films. Hitchcock for example has some films that are lost.
Haven't seen Pre War Kurosawa. Anything after that? I've seen.
Luckily most of the directors I admire have a filmography that is possible for me to see. All my favs I've seen except for those 2 up there.

Billy Wilder- I've only seen a handful(Sunset Blvd, Double Indemnity, Stalag 17, The Apartment) and everything I've seen from him, I've loved so far.
Hitchcock- Only seen the more popular ones(Rear Window, The Birds, Psycho).
Scorsese-Haven't seen Kundun, The Age of Innocence, and New York, New York.
Those are the main directors I can think of.

I've seen around 15 of Ingmar Bergman's films, so I have another 35+ to watch.

I've seen all the major Tarantino films aside from his segment in Four Rooms. Also have seen most of Nolan's films except for Following but will probably pick up the new Blu-ray next time there's a Criterion sale. Also the Coen Brothers I like a lot but haven't seen a few of their films.

Yeah. Kurosawa is my favorite but I've only seen 11 of his movies. I own most of them, and a ton of books which I also need to read more of.
Kubrick as well, still need to see 2001 (yup, somehow I missed this, bought it on DVD and BD), Fear and Desire and re-watch Lolita.

Bergman - I need to see a scattered mix of his film from various time periods, his late stuff after Fanny and Alexander and that one box set of movies that was released by MGM minus Persona in particular.
Fellini - 8 1/2 is my favorite movie ever and still the only other movie I have seen of his is Amarcord.

I haven't watched Kubrick's oldest movies (The Killing, Paths of Glory, etc.).
I'm not giddy over Coppola. But still never watched The Godfather III. Didn't watch the first two till a year or two ago.
There's a lot of older movies I should probably watch. But, hey, I was born in 1983. Didn't really get into movies until I was 10. Can't watch them all. And it takes extra effort to sit down and watch an old movie. I sat down, zoned out, and watched Dinner for Schmucks on cable the other night. But I STILL haven't watched my Robinson Crusoe on Mars Criterion DVD.

It can get difficult to catch everything from some of these guys with 10+ films under their belt, especially when some of it is hard to find. I haven't seen any of Kubrick's stuff prior to Lolita. I haven't seen Sergio Leone's The Colossus of Rhodes. I still need to see Terry Zwigoff's documentaries and one or two from Oliver Stone's pre-Alexander days.

Unless they're one-offs, I doubt I've seen all the work of any director, even my favorites. I'm in no rush on any movie. I'll see it eventually is my thinking.

Takashi Miike: In an interview I saw, he pretty much said he has to make films non-stop in Japan. If I had to guess, I've probably only seen 50-60% of his films.
David Cronenberg: Probably like 4-5 films of his that I haven't seen, mostly notably eXistenZ and Cosmopolis.
Akira Kurosawa & Alfred Hitchcock: Handful of films I still need to see from both directors.
Quentin Tarantino: Haven't seen his segment from Four Rooms.
Robert Rodriguez: Haven't seen any of the Family/Kid films he's done.
David Fincher: Haven't seen The Social Network.

Zhang Yimou. I'm one of his biggest fans in the US. Anything he directs I will see. With that being said, I have seen everything he has done, EXCEPT for Riding alone for Thousands of Miles and The Flowers of War.

Recently completed Peckinpah's filmography with Deadly Companions. Now need to work on:
Scorsese-Who's/Door? and Shine a Light
Russ Meyer-I could live without seeing some of his early nudie cuties, but I'd still love to see The Seven Minutes
Cronenberg-Stereo, Crimes of the Future & Cosmopolis
Corbucci-I need to see Gli specialisti badly
Miike-No way in hell can I keep up with everything, but Blues Harp and Agitator tops my most-wanted list
Hitch-Only ones left (That I'm interested in) are Blackmail,Mr. & Mrs. Smith & Torn Curtain
Chang Cheh-Another most wanted list: Golden Swallow,Boxer From Shantung and The Weird Man
De Palma-Work from '68-'72 (Aside from Murder a la Mod)
Jodorowsky-Tusk & Rainbow Thief
Fuller-Hell and High Water, China Gate, Verboten! and The Crimson Kimono

For fans of old films, it's pretty much impossible to see some directors' full output. Just look at the filmography of someone like John Ford or Michael Curtiz. It's massive. Many of the old Hollywood directors have resumes like that. They made a ton of movies, and many of them are difficult, maybe even impossible, to watch because they have been lost or not commercially released.

The only Kubrick I haven't seen, like most, is Fear & Desire. From what I hear, I can live with that.
I haven't seen some of the latest Gilliam films, like Tideland and what-not. There was a time when such a thing was unthinkable.
Still have some holes in my Scorsese filmography, like New York New York, The Age of Innocence, and that one what with Nick Cage I can't remember. The ambulance. Poop.

I still don't know if I like Tideland or not. It's not badly directed. It's got an interesting premise but something about it just doesn't jive w/ me. Maybe it's the material overall or just some parts of it that I just don't connect well to.
