This trailer is getting advertised around the internet right now.
Looks really good. Plots like this get tired. The trailer makes it look like there's something more.

Original trailer has been pulled by the copyright holder (why WOULDN'T you want to advertise your movie). Here's a mirror:

I saw a trailer that had the proverbial critics quotes. Unfortunately, all of the critics quotes were from no name critics and publications, and there are no reviews on RT.com yet.
The only thing you can be sure of is it won't do well financially. Colin Farrell is box office poison. Pretty good actor, but a dud at the box office. I'm surprised he gets any leading roles because of his horrible track record. Has the man ever had a hit of any kind? Total Recall, The New World, The Way Back, Miami Vice, Ondine, Alexander, The Recruit, Hart's War, American Outlaw, and on and on and on. All flops.
About the only films I can remember him headlining that did well at all, is Phone Booth. That didn't even make 100 million dollars worldwide. The only reason it did well was it's budget was tiny. SWAT I guess did okay. That's about it.
Trailer doesn't look bad though.

Not a big Colin Farrell fan, but this looks interesting!

Miami Vice is probably the only movie of his that I absolutely love. Like, I think it's a great movie.
More often, I watch his movies once and that's it. Not good. Not bad. That's that.
From the trailer, I think that this can have a really soulful tone. Could be really good. Definitely one to see in theaters.

It visually looks nice, so at the very least Oplev put effort into it
NPR didn't like it much stating: "...a tangle of plots and counterplots... just isn't very much fun.... a tale about the sacred obligation of vengeance, and watching it is a bit of a chore." but the full review has been pulled for breaking embargo.

Agreed he hasn't really had a hit in a long time... but he does do good work.

Just got back from this. Trailer advertises it being action packed, when it's really not. I still thought the plot was interesting. I'd give it a 6/10. Not terrible, but not something I'd ever need to see again.
I was really, really worried as I was sitting in the theater and the 'WWE Films' banner came up in front of it.

Colin Farrell absolutely cannot win. Almost everything he does turns out mediocre or bad, and almost everything flops.
I do have to say In Bruges was really good, and that was probably the best performance I've seen him give. His problem is he doesn't seem to have much presence or charisma on screen. He seems to have more of it offscreen, and can't bring it on set with him.

I was going to see this til I heard it sucked. Poor WWE films. Have they ever made anything good?
I think it's safe to say The Call will continue their dominance of the cream of the crap.

The way this film is going, I'm probably not going to check it out too soon if anything. It looks real nice though.

I thought this was a chore to get through. It built up steam nicely, but lost all momentum after about 45 minutes and got progressively more absurd. It wasn't fun enough to be a good action movie and there weren't enough decent characters to add any drama.
