Welcome to the Rileys - 2/5

99 Homes - 3/5
When a blue collar single father is evicted from his home along with his son and mother. In order to possibly get his home back, he starts to work for the ruthless real estate agent who had him evicted. Even though the third act is weak, the film is worth watching for the excellent Oscar nominated performance by Michael Shannon.

Prometheus (3D)...such a great movie. Tries to be this thought provoking "where did humans come from" epic spectacle, but Scott adeptly abandons most of this for pure horror very much in line with the Alien franchise that is so beloved. Just fantasticly simple, with just a smidge of a grander theme on the formation of life. Perhaps, more to be discussed in Covenant, but this was a perfect tension and horror movie.

In a Valley of Violence...damn fine little western. damn fine. very no frills, simple and straightforward. Travolta was actually decent and showed what he used to be. very enjoyable.

I watched Me Before You tonight. I usually don't romantic dramas, but I wanted to watch this since Emilia Clarke was in it. I have to admit that I really liked it. I was surprised by how much I liked it. 4.25/5

Safe - 4/5
A bourgeois housewife who leads an empty life suddenly becomes ill and her doctors can't find anything wrong with her. A creepy film about how one's environment can be their own enemy with a great performance from Julianne Moore.

One of my fantasy football teams is called Rick Carver Realty lol.
It was a great movie and though I don't like his as Spiderman Garfield did a good job.
Jason Becker: Not Dead Yet on AXS TV on demand.
Sucks he got ALS since he was a talented guitarist and he could have been as huge as Eddie Van Halen though it is cool even in his condition he can still find ways to make music.

A compelling story about race relations and a two year snapshot into the life of the famed runner at the Berlin Olympics. As a story it was very interesting. If you're worried about the country today with racism or anti-semitism, try being Black or Jewish at that time. WOW. I hate seeing that stuff. As a movie I found I was thinking it was longer than it actually was. I looked at the timer thinking it must be close to 2 hours when in fact it was at 1:15. Sudeikas was actually pretty good as the coach.
