Apatow is just about a guilty of movie bloat as Peter Jackson.

A so-so film. Handful of laughs, but that's about it. BTW, was Leslie Mann's topless scene CGI like in "The Change Up"? And I hate that Asian actress too. Worst part of the movie.

Finally saw this and thought it was pretty meh. The stuff with Rudd and Mann was just boring as hell. Albert Brooks played a character that was even more villainous than he did in Drive. And totally got away with it here.
Movie just didn't feel authentic with a rich family masquerading as a normal one. Just didn't work for me. All the subplots didn't bother me as much because Segal and Fox were the only 2 bright spots in the film. Melissa McCarthy wasn't nearly as funny as Apatow wanted us to believe.
Just meh. Needs to stick to humor.

Judd Apatow Confirms ‘Knocked Up’ Trilogy
Here’s some rather exciting news for fans of Knocked Up and those looking forward to This Is 40 (Out in a couple of weeks) as Judd Apatow has confirmed that he’ll be turning the comedy franchise into a trilogy.
In an interview in London with Simon Thompson from Getty Images Entertainment to promote sequel-of-sorts This Is 40 he revealed he’s been inspired to round the series out after being inspired by classic French film-maker, François Truffaut.
When asked about a threequel Judd said:
“Yes… because I like the series that Truffaut made where he revisited the same character five different times in five different movies. I think it’s fun to see people grow up.
“I’m interested in it with Leslie (Mann) and Paul (Rudd)’s characters… Pete and Debbie… but I’m even more interested in Maude and Iris.
He went on to say:
“When we first met Maude’s character, Sadie, she was 8-years-old, she didn’t understand where babies come from and know we see her five years later and she’s just cursing and screaming and having teenager problems so I’m thinking that maybe in the next one she’s in college…
“…or maybe I’m just lazy and this is a great way to make home movies…”
So there you have it, hot off the press and some exciting news for a Friday afternoon. This is 40 hits UK cinemas 14th February and you’ll be able to see our interview with stars Paul Rudd and Lesley Mann in a week or so too.

The daughters are very bad actresses. I like Leslie however.
I cannot understand how Charlene Yi keeps getting acting gigs. There must be tons of much much better out of work actresses who deserve acting gigs way more than Yi.
