I always look forward to these, very informative and you get to see people learn from each other as well.

Amy Adams every damn year. I figure she would have run out of things to say by now.

The actors roundtables always have this "Oh I am the biggest fan of everyone at this table but I'm really here because I want to win an Oscar!" atmosphere.

Angelina Jolie (Unbroken), Christopher Nolan (Interstellar), Richard Linklater (Boyhood), Mike Leigh (Mr. Turner), Bennett Miller (Foxcatcher) and Morten Tyldum (The Imitation Game) discuss their new films, open up about ethics, fears, family and what drives them: "We're all kind of control freaks, right?"

The Executives round table was fascinating, if not a bit too full of typical CEO speak. Man, Langley seems so out of her depth alongside the others.

 at Horn calling the Thor films "Shakespearian dramas". Everyone else had a good laugh, too.

I don't typically like to use an hour for a youtube video but these things are very interesting.

I was interested in how the Paramount and Universal execs responded.

I found those interviewers very hostile and quite rude.

They're trying to be respectful but they're all trying to one up each other. Horn was one they kind of targeted a bit there. The IFC guy was the only one that happily was in his own little game.

Not the executives... the women from THR interviewing them.

No, I'm just saying.

But those ladies were trying to get something out of them for sure. Especially the skinny one. She was pretty antagonistic.

I'd agree. They were trying to dig for dirt in an interview all these executives know isn't meant to be terribly substantial. They're there to discuss the state of film and how their respective studios operate, not deliver damning exclusives THR can use for click bait.

This has been the most interesting non-award roundtable that the Hollywood Reporter has had... tho a bit tight lipped, I thought most of the studio heads we candid enough to see through some of the smoke screens to tough questions.

Am I missing it... or are all the actor ones only broken up into 5 minute segments. No full ones yet?

Why is David O. Russell part of this? "Joy" wasn't even that well-received.
