Now You See Me (June 2013, Dir: Louis Leterrier) (Jesse Eisenberg, Mark Ruffalo)

This looks pretty cool. The Illusionist/Prestige meets Oceans 11! Great cast, interesting storyline, so-so director -- could be awesome. Can't wait!

Director Louis Letterier’s heist-thriller has a stellar cast (Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Mark Ruffalo, Michael Caine, Morgan Freeman, Isla Fisher, Dave Franco and Melanie Laurent), an intriguing/adventurous premise, and magic! Lots and lots of magic. The story centers on a group of magicians who pull off bank heists during their death-defying acts, and the FBI squad tasked with catching them.

I really liked this trailer. First-time in a while a trailer for a non-sequel/franchise movie has gotten me really pumped up. Hoping for the best.

Agreed. I thought the trailer was great. Tho I'd rather they had cast J Gordon Leavitt in the film instead of Jesse Eisenberg.

I'm always glad when Morgan Freeman is there to explain the plot for me.

Wow, just saw trailer for this. It's good to see Melanie Laurent in anything. Looks fun.

Great cast, but...I really hate Jesse Cera.

True, but when they speak, they sound so much alike to me.

Interesting, but definitely one of those "see how the reviews look" decisions for me.

The trailers and clips I've seen have looked good. It's something a little different than what we usually get in the Summer, so I'll probably see it unless it gets garbage reviews.

I bet it does get garbage reviews but in the end winds up being entertaining regardless.

Hopefully this isn't a glorified Leverage (which is good). Looks interesting.

This looks like it has the potential to be good "junk food" (Point Break, The Negotiator, Con-Air).

Enjoy it as a summer movie, leave your logic at the door and this will end up to be a pretty good movie. I enjoyed it. For every single move to pan out and go according to plan, everything has to be perfect. Even for things that are beyond the control of the 4, but sure it's a movie so everything panned out. It's just a little too perfect, thus you'll need to leave your logic at the door to fully enjoy it. Decent film though.

Being a jerk or just flirting?

Did she actually refer to Morgan Freeman as "Morgie?"

If him calling her out on that is what you mean by being a jerk, then I say no.

He definitely seemed annoyed with her. Those junkets must be awful for actors, basically sitting there all day while a stream of entertainment "reporters" come through asking the same vapid questions.

Haha. He was definetly annoyed. That is pretty funny.
