Fans of Saw: Is the only reason you like them because they in together nicely? Not trying to be a dick but I'd rather have a series that contained either a scary movie or some type of visceral thrill or had some humor. I can even see if you guys mentioned the gore. I just find it weird.

Friday the 13th. Obviously ripping off Halloween, but the kills were much more brutal.

As others have mentioned, the kills were awesome and in general the films stayed pretty fun (sans a couple!)

Maybe he prefers Jennifer Love Hewitt's big jugs to Saw. I know I do. He did put other. It's not like he left the other option out and said "Nope, these are the only horror franchises." I know I tend to forget bland, mediocre movies when thinking about good ones.
