...yes, I think this story has been told more times than any other in Star Wars trivia.

The comment was a joke.

The chronology is:
1) Rebels flee Hoth. Luke sets course for Dagobah.
2) The Millennium Falcon evades the Empire, setting course for Bespin.
3) Luke arrives at Dagobah, is trained by Yoda.
4) The Millennium Falcon arrives at the Cloud City.
Weeks or months? They don't even change their clothes. Sure in sci-fi it's all futuristic and alien to have characters wearing uniform clothing constantly but literally no storytelling device of any kind is used to illustrate any great passage of time. The characters aren't shown sleeping. There are no references about the length of time the journey is taking. Nothing. Sometimes people read too much into things.

Clone wars season 6 is really still in the works? I thought it was always gonna be 5 seasons. Some have guessed that it could just be moved to Disney XD.

I'm sure some casting news will come in March and April.

They could only show the days that they wore clothes. Since it was their only clothing, they wore the same ones on those days shown in the movie. The rest of the days, they were nude. The movie could not show those days because it would have gotten an X rating. Yoda's and Luke's nude days were the best and they're ones that Luke will never forget.

Speaking of Yoda, he is always wearing tattered jedi robes in the original trilogy. When he went into isolation on Dagobah how many sets of clothes did he take with him? He may very well have been wearing the same robe every single day for 20 years...

Yoda must have had some pretty pungent balls then.....

The dude probably marked his territory in Degobah, by grabbing his sack before he touched anything he came in contact with. The strength of his ball stench was probably stronger; ounce for ounce, than his power of the force.

It was Han's ship so he probably had all his clothes on board. Leia probably wore his clothes once they set out for Bespin. Once they got to Bespin, she got back into her clothes since they fit her. We didn't see any scenes during that time so we didn't see what they wore.

Glad to see the hype for episode VII has turned into clothes washing and Yoda balls...

On a serious note, when Chewbacca took a shit, did it stick to his fur?

Dingleberries!

I just thought of something else regarding Yoda. Clothes don't generally last 20 years. His robe wouldn't just be tattered; it would have massive holes in it. Maybe he actually isn't wearing anything at all. Maybe Yoda is just doing a jedi mind trick to make everyone think he is fully clothed when he is actually running around naked as a jaybird.

In "Return of the Jedi," Chewbacca and an Ewok were both taking shits in the grass of Endor.

Chewbacca asked the Ewok if shit stuck to his fur. The Ewok replied, "Yes, it does."

Chewbacca grabbed the Ewok and wiped his ass with him.

Yeah, Wookiees are born with white hair. A week after birth, they are baptized in the ceremonial shits of their ancestors which they do not bathe off for the rest of their lives.

OK. But I think the plot will be Palpatine survived ROTJ since he fell into the Death Star sewage treatment vat, which survived the explosion. A star destoyer tractor beamed it onboard before fleeing Endor. So he lived to fight again...20 years later.

Or they could do the Dark Empire storyarc where he stayed alive in clone bodies. A body would die, but his spirit would always live on, so killing the body in essence does nothing.

I know a lot of people hated Dark Empire, but it actually does fit in with ROTS when Palpatine is telling Anakin about Darth Plagueis and how they discovered how to cheat death.

They could also bring Plagueis into VII-IX...

I think bringing either Palpatine or Vader back would completely ruin Anakin's redemption. The restored Jedi gave his life to save his son from the evil that had corrupted himself, and its one of the most powerful moments in the saga so far.

I would love to see Anakin's ghost appear in the new trilogy though; it'd be cool if they could get Hayden to do a scene with Carrie, where she rejects his plea for forgiveness.

I agree that was one of the best moments in the movies, but I don't see how it would be ruined if Palpatine comes back. Just because Anakin stopped the evil doesn't mean the evil can never return.

I definitely don't want to see Vader back, at least not Anakin, but I wouldn't mind if it was just some pretender using his name.

Something similar to that happens in the book Tatooine Ghost. Its a decent read.
