I thought it was a nice homage to the characters...

Absolutely loved it. I have a hard time thinking of a better movie I've seen this year. Couldn't have been happier with the entire story.

Good-sweet-fun Movie.
Would have like to hear the song "Snoopy vs The Red Baron" by the Royal Guardsmen during one of the aerial battles. |

Fantastic flick. Blue Sky nailed it. Characters, voices, visual style, perspective, top to bottom.
Also, the BD has an AMAZING 'making of' doc(about :30 mins). The animators were on it. The level of appreciation and attention to detail is off the charts. I highly recommend it. |

I think I had a smile on for the entire 88 minutes. |
Re: Peanuts (2015) S: Snoopy, et al
I missed this while it was in theaters but blind bought the Blu-ray and watched it. Really liked it a lot. Had all the charm of the comic strip and the old specials/movies. Most of the voice acting was pretty good I thought and the animation was great. I liked that even though it was digitally animated that the film kept a classic look. The story is fairly simple but I wouldn't have expected much more from the film. Definitely worth a watch in my opinion.
