growing up Walken I knew a lot more of, never even knew who Dafoe was till SM1...quickly fixed that afterwards.

I guess....Dafoe. Love his ability to physically be a character in movement and characteristics. He adds a lot.

I like Dafoe, but Walken is just about my all-time favorite actor.

No contest. Walken. Comminion scared the shit out of me.

As much as I love Walken, I feel like Dafoe has more range.

I prefer Dafoe as an actor and Walken as a character.

Dafoe. I like Walken, but I've never thought he was anything special.

Dafoe needs more cowbell.

Dafoe has played Jesus Christ, nostferatu, and the Green Goblin. Walken doesn't have as much range IMHO.

Walken for True Romance alone. The Hopper/Walken scene in that is one of the all time greats.

Can't really choose between them based on their work...so since I met Dafoe in person and he was a really nice guy, I picked him.

Dafoe's a great actor, but Walken is one of a kind and has done so many memorable turns over the last 40-odd years: THE ANDERSON TAPES, NEXT STOP GREENWICH VILLAGE, ANNIE HALL, THE DEER HUNTER, THE DOGS OF WAR, THE DEAD ZONE, KING OF NEW YORK, BATMAN RETURNS, TRUE ROMANCE, BASQUIAT, CATCH ME IF YOU CAN, and HAIRSPRAY, to name the major ones I've seen and remember. I can't list anywhere near that number for Dafoe.

So, it's Walken for me.

I think Dafoe might be the better actor, at least being able to be convincing in different types of roles. Walken has pretty much been Walken in every movie, but damn, I love it when he shows up. He can turn a ridiculous movie into something perfectly watchable (The Country Bears).

Walken wins in my book.

Both are great actors. Whenever I see that Dafoe is in a new movie I am excited and more likely to see it based on his inclusion in the project. I can't say the same for Walken.

BTW, did you know that Tim Burton considered Willem Dafoe to play The Joker. That would've been rad.
