Howzabout Reb Brown? (1970s Captain America, the explosives expert from Uncommon Valor, and, of course, Slab Bulkhead from Space Mutiny)

At some point in the movie they should all be sitting around for a tea party discussing Canadian politics.

Re: The Expendables 3

Kurt Russell, Steven Seagal and Jesse Ventura without exception. Those three guys just need to be in the Expendables universe. Besides them, these other guys would be pretty cool additions as well:

Carl Weathers
Mr. T
Michael Biehn
Wesley Snipes
Michael Jai White
Chow Yun Fat
Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson
Danny Trejo

Also, I hate Vin Diesel, but I have to admit that he'd be a good fit too.

Re: The Expendables 3

If Vin Diesel is in this, his first scene should be him curb stomping the Rock. I wanna hear in the news about a crazed homeless Mexican going on a rage fueled rampage in a Texas movie theater the moment that happens onscreen.

He seems like a sure thing. I'm not sure why he hasn't shown up in these movies yet.

No to the bolded.

CYF doesn't do well in English. Vin Diesel is a bitch compared to any of the guys we have had here in these films.

Why the hell would I want the fatass (who can kick my ass I'm sure) sharing the screen w/ action badasses who are in fucking great shape?! The hell w/ Seagal....also..it would never happen either cuz of bad blood w/ the producer.

The Rock, Trejo, and Jai White for sure need to be in EX3.

And I say that as someone that has enjoyed plenty of Vin Diesel's movies and would like to see him at least cameo in this franchise.

Re: The Expendables 3

Drop Trejo, drop Mr.T, and , hell, drop the whole franchise. Chow Yun Fat is the coolest of the cool. WHo the fuck cares if he can't speak english well. Doesn't stop Arnold or JCVD.

Yeah, Norris looks horrible in the clips they've shown. Kinda like the dye job they gave Trejo in Machete.

Re: The Expendables 3

Haven't Carl Weathers and Sly had a bit of a falling out? I remember a fuss during ROCKY BALBOA where Sly just wanted to use some photos/old footage of him and Carl wanted a crazy sum of money...so Sly just cut him out of the movie completely.

Crazy sum of money and he demamnded to have a supporting role in Rocky Balboa, despite his character being very much dead. Stallone was later reported to have called him Apollo Greed due to the incident.

From what I learned elsewhere, Carl Weathers also dislikes Dolph Lundgren. His distaste for Dolph goes all the way back to Rocky IV. It seems Weathers got hit a lot for real while shooting his fight scene with Lundgren.

He shouldn't have been too mad. At least Dolph didn't almost kill him like he did Stallone.

Re: The Expendables 3

Lance Henriksen and Michael Ironside should be the lead vilains. With Billy Drago as some creepy/crazy hitman. And Robert Z'Dar should be their hired muscle.

Re: The Expendables 3

Why no Burt Reynolds?
He was an action star around the time of Clint Eastwood.

Glad to see so much love for her in this thread.

Now if only we could make this a reality in another sequel (and a subsequent spinoff):

It would be a crime if she didn't. I picture her and Sly's renewed courtship playing out amidst a hail of bullets and broken bones.

Anyway, yeah, he's a fan-favorite because he did all of his own stunts in that season. He's a fantastic martial arist, he's even done far too little work behind-the-scenes as a choreographer. He's also in an impossible-to-find martial arts film with fellow former Power Ranged Johnny Yong Bosch called Broken Path which sadly only got a DVD release in Africa someplace but I believe is a available for a cheap rental on YouTube. It's directed by a longtime Power Rangers alumnus Koichi Sakamoto, who also choreographed the fights on Steve Wang's massively underrated Drive from 1997, which is a killer. Apparently he and JYB also voiced characters in the Devil May Cry video games, which were also worked on by the sadly defunct Alpha Stunts, who worked on the above-mentioned stuff and PR. I think that is enough worthless information for a while, sorry, got carried away .
This whole post reminds me of a FaceBook conversation with my friend Evan.

The Drive you're talking about is the Mark Dacascos movie? If so, I love that movie (and the final fight) so damn much.

Lambert had an awesome recurring guest role in NCIS: Los Angeles, despite mostly spending his days running his vineyard lately.

I have no idea what Roddy Piper is up to but I'd love to see both him and Keith David in this franchise. Hell, bring on David Keith as well.

Damn Piper was such a bad ass in "They Live".

Forgot about him but it would be cool if he hopped on board.
