All serious and realistic. Based on a best selling book.
Good movie to watch on a Saturday night with pizza.

BTW, if you have NetFlix streaming, The Taking of Pelham One Two Three (the original version with Robert Shaw) is instantly streamable there.

(Once you start it and hear the fantastic theme for the film, you'll be hooked)

That's the one I was hoping you mean. Haven't seen it and it's been recommended to me several times (sometimes sincerely, sometimes ironically, to be honest!).

Another reason to see Black Sunday is that it contains one of the greatest death scenes ever. I just love how Bruce Dern's character gets so giddy by seeing the pattern of a geometrical experiment---And to hell with the guy who happened to get in the way of it

I watched The Taking Of Pelham 1-2-3 last night and I was not disappointed. Shaw is so cool in that movie. I really liked the ending. I thought that was pretty bold and surprising.

Man, they don't make movies like that anymore.
