I'll admit I felt it when they showed the statue of Batman.

Did you cry during Coulson's death, too?

I must've missed a scene where this character was more than a joke. That's the only explanation.

I forgot that happened. That's how "important" that was. Such a minor useless character. What did he do again other than stand beside Samuel Jackson in a suit.

I'm not talking about Coulson. You're just so sensitive on these forums. Mellow out.

Yeah, I'm not ashamed to admit that I tear up at the drop of a hat, and I didn't tear up at at all in TDKR.

Yep. That's exactly my point, too. I get more emotional over powerful movie scenes than most people, and I was not moved at all in TDKR.

You got an example of this or are you just spouting bullshit because you creamed your pants for 'The Avengers'?

Sensitive about what? What are you even talking about? Is this another of your 'Lost in Translation' posts?

Yeah, I totally see. Thanks for your apt advice, Solid Snake PAC.

I'm going to introduce you to my friend, the ignore list, as thanks for your helpful and in no way completely superfluous response.

DragonTattoo you gotta hate when people do this. I know I do. Just baiting. Just answer the question he asked or just move on.

Re: The Avengers vs The Dark Knight Rises

I have a feeling this will soon turn into a "Nolan is better than Whedon" or "Marvel is better than DC" discussion.

I'm sure that's in the underbelly of this so far. The former more so than the latter.

I actually prefer Nolan as a director but this time around(meaning TDKR and Avengers), not so much. They both have have their strengths and weaknesses. I just hate it when people present their opinions as fucking fact like bootsy and Dragon Tattoo ended up doing.

Re: The Avengers vs The Dark Knight Rises

Pretty much the same for me. Though I'd say Whedon's film was better....I'd also say he wasn't as talented in terms of direction as Nolan. Funny how that happens.

Re: The Avengers vs The Dark Knight Rises

I think The Avengers surprised me more, because I was expecting it to be a bloated piece of shit and it turned out to be a well handled joy. However, I'm more invested in the Batman trilogy, and seeing it wrap up in a good way was amazing.

I chose The Dark Knight Rises.

Re: The Avengers vs The Dark Knight Rises

I won't lie, I liked Avengers more. It was more of a fun movie. However, I am inclined to say TDKR was a better movie overall, I just didn't like it as much. Schindler's List is a much better movie than Jurassic Park, but I liked Jurassic way more.

Jurassic Park over Schindler's List, easily.

Re: The Avengers vs The Dark Knight Rises

The Avengers and I find Iron Man a more interesting character than Batman.
