Can that web address have any more references to death in it?

Re: Sage Stallone is dead.

Well that is just awful. Imagine how difficult it will be for to Stallone have to promote the Expendables 2, while dealing with such a loss.

He sucked in Rocky 5, but RIP. I feel bad for Sly.

Very sad. Sage was an integral part of Grindhouse releasing, and we got some great releases thanks to his efforts. I feel bad for Sly, especially coming off a great panel at CC.

Re: Sage Stallone is dead.

He'll be remembered for that release of Cannibal Holocaust - arguably one of the finest DVDs of all time.

Condolences to Sly and to Sage's mother (Brigette Neilsen?)

His mother is Sasha Czack, who Sly divorced in 1985. Sly married Brigitte later that same year.

Re: Sage Stallone is dead.

I really hope Sage's last performance sees the light of day. Apparently he was pretty great in Vincent Gallo's "Promises Written in Water".

I guess you could say anything is "arguably" one of the finest DVDs of all time.

I read about that. If he's responsible for that new 35mm that made rounds years ago, I'm thankful for that too.

RIP.

I feel sorry for Stallone.

Watched Rambo 2 the other day and it ruled as usual. "Wasn't my war Colonel. I'm just here to clean up the mess."

Re: Sage Stallone is dead.

Sad news. I totally forgot about him in Rocky 5. When I think of Sage as an actor, I now go back to this terrible Last on the House Left remake called Chaos. Well, it's not officially a remake, but yeah, it is. Awful movie.

It's the "Staying Alive" curse on sons.

It seems like a lot more sons/daughters of celebrities are dying in the last 5 years.

I don't have a link, but he more or less disowned the movie after (or before?) it came out, saying that he was duped into signing onto it.

I have no doubt he disowned the movie. You can basically tell from his performance that he didn't have much interest in being in the film.

This is from IMDB.

David Hess "Krug" from The Last House on the Left, was originally cast in a major role and recommended friend Sage Stallone for the part of "Swan". After a week of shooting, the producer chose not to label the film a remake and replaced David Hess. Stallone quit, but was under contract which forced him to complete his scenes.

I feel really bad for Sly, because aside from all his fame and fortune he seems like a genuinely nice and down to earth guy.
