He sucked in Rocky 5, but RIP. I feel bad for Sly.

Very sad. Sage was an integral part of Grindhouse releasing, and we got some great releases thanks to his efforts. I feel bad for Sly, especially coming off a great panel at CC.

I really hope Sage's last performance sees the light of day. Apparently he was pretty great in Vincent Gallo's "Promises Written in Water".

Sad news. I totally forgot about him in Rocky 5. When I think of Sage as an actor, I now go back to this terrible Last on the House Left remake called Chaos. Well, it's not officially a remake, but yeah, it is. Awful movie.

It's the "Staying Alive" curse on sons.
It seems like a lot more sons/daughters of celebrities are dying in the last 5 years.

I don't have a link, but he more or less disowned the movie after (or before?) it came out, saying that he was duped into signing onto it.

This is from IMDB.
David Hess "Krug" from The Last House on the Left, was originally cast in a major role and recommended friend Sage Stallone for the part of "Swan". After a week of shooting, the producer chose not to label the film a remake and replaced David Hess. Stallone quit, but was under contract which forced him to complete his scenes.

I guess you could say anything is "arguably" one of the finest DVDs of all time.
RIP
