I never understand why people flip out when asked to spoiler something. How hard is it to just say "oh sorry, didn't think it would be a big deal i'll fix it now"

Because some assclowns think they are never wrong and will never admit they are wrong. It's easier for them to blame their mistakes on others.

I think you should expect spoilers in a thread for a movie that came out 2-3 months ago. Sorry, not sorry.

So you really do think nobody has unwatched movie piles? You really do think everyone watches every movie in the theater?

No, but I would think that someone should expect on an internet forum where you discuss movies that 3 months after it was released that a thread discussing said movie might contain a spoiler or two.

In the TV forum, the day after the show airs all bets are usually off in regards to spoilers.

TV isn't movies.

There's a sticky thread that tells you to use spoiler tags. You have no excuse not to use spoiler tags.

Is it really so hard and time-consuming to take a second to add spoiler tags on a spoiler? You have wasted much more time debating this stupid shit than you would have wasted taking the time to add tags in the first place.

Re: Big Hero 6 (Disney's animated Marvel film)

I guess I see both sides. I understand the hurt by having something revealed in a film that you haven't seen.

But it's for that reason that I rarely ever come into a thread like this after a movie has been released. In fact, I have a hard time understanding why anyone would be reading through this thread if they haven't seen the film at this point. Every other comment made appears to be by folks who have seen it. And a few reveal some things about the plot/ending in a more general sense.

Re: Big Hero 6 (Disney's animated Marvel film)

I'll admit I never read the Sticky on spoilerizing until now. It does mention new and old movies. My bad, I usually spend more time interacting in the TV forum... it honestly never even crossed my mind to spoiler it given it came out months ago.

I would still highly recommend watching the movie. My "spoiler" really hasn't spoiled anything, IMO.

Re: Big Hero 6 (Disney's animated Marvel film)

Big Hero 6 is WDA's 3rd highest grossing movie:

http://deadline.com/2015/03/big-hero...ce-1201388358/

Thrust across the goal line by its strong performance in China, Disney’s Big Hero 6 crossed the $600M mark worldwide. It’s the studio’s fourth 2014 film to reach the milestone, and the 22nd ever. After adding $19.9M globally this frame, the Oscar winner’s total is now $604.8M ($221.3M domestic/$383.5M international). That pushes it past Tangled to become the third-highest-grossing Disney animated release of all time behind all-time animated box-office champ Frozen and The Lion King. The big, mushy ‘bot is still playing in 25 territories in its 20th week on screens.

Kind of funny since there were a few people wondering if the box office was disappointing on release.

I watched this again on Blu-ray the other week, and again on a plane flight and still enjoy watching that squishy robot.

Yeah I'm one, I like the movie a good bit but was wondering what they were expecting for US Box Office numbers. This did well here, but was huge overseas. To note, Disney releases means they're not counting Pixar in that statement.

I saw this and enjoyed it. It's not quite as good as something similar like "The Incredibles" but still pretty good.

I watched it with my kids on the day it was released on Blu. This is way better than Frozen.

I still don't get how Frozen was such a big sensation, something about the way it was edited together didn't work for me.

I don't think kids care about editing.

Or writing. The script was a mess.

I saw it again to give it a chance...it still sucked. Maybe it's my age. Comparing it to Disney's Little Mermaid and Beauty and the Beast it doesn't even come close and those are just regular animated movies....maybe it's the soundtrack....I really can't pinpoint why it just doesn't work it for me.

Quirky characters and catchy songs. That's all that propelled that movie to where it is. Sometimes that's all it takes.

Plus two princesses.

But I dunno. There were certainly plot problems with Frozen, but there are plot problems in nearly every classic that we overlook, especially the classic princess movies.

Re: Big Hero 6 (Disney's animated Marvel film)

I liked Frozen better then some of the classics like Beauty and the Beast, but then again I like quirkier stuff like Wreck-it-Ralph, Lilo & Stitch, or Emperor's New Groove better then all of those too so my tastes are weird.
