This is the first time I've seen the entire Tom Cruise Oprah couch jumping appearence. My initial thoughts are that he strikes me as a man that has found a shred of heterosexuality in the form of Katie Holmes and feels the need to hold on to it for dear life and champion it like its the second coming, before it slips away. Either way it seems really unnatural and awkward.

The real brouhaha will be the child custody battle. If she's really determined to save the kid from Scientology, it's going get very, very nasty.

Her father is a big-deal shark divorce lawyer, and I wonder if he's ready to spill the real dirt to win. Will they put Scientoloty on trial...will they bring up Tom's abuse of Sea Org slaves, the weirdness of scieno parenting beliefs, or the poor quality of scientology mandated schooling? And will the Holmes team be willing to bring in DNA tests?

Seriously, what happens if they prove the kid isn't Tom's?

Agreed. I couldn't care less about Scientology but it's no weirder than any other religion. The others have just been around longer so all the obvious "weird stuff" happened long ago.

If people today were walking around talking about burning bushes, parting seas and rising from the dead, they'd get the same reaction.
