Re: Best Looking Actress?

I have never seen her movies but with Footloose and Rock of Ages she is now an actress though it is up for debate if she can act.

I really can't debate most of the choices on this list. Theron is ridiculously beautiful as is Scarlett J., total girl crushes. I think Rooney Mara is stunning as well.

I'm too fickle to choose one actress. Heck, my list of best looking actors is probably ten pages long, "best" kind of depends on my mood.

My reaction also. After all these years, I still think that is the sexiest screen role I've ever seen. Especially the dance scene, although my favorite is the sword duel. Instant screen crush for me.

There are a number of other actresses that got my attention in the years since: Kate Beckinsale in Serendipity, Charlize Theron in Aeon Flux, Zhang Ziyi in Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, Gwyneth Paltrow in Shakespeare in Love, Cate Blanchett in The Fellowship of the Ring, and many others. But Catherine Zeta-Jones as Elena Montero remains at the top of the list for me. Best looking actress indeed!

If Winstead had looked like that in SCOTT PILGRIM, I would have liked that movie so much more.

Shu Qi is one of my favorites also, along with Zhang Ziyi, but I went with Aishwarya Rai in my post since I had to pick one. But it's a tough call.

Re: Best Looking Actress?

Uhm Jung Hwa (Princess Aurora, Singles, For Horowitz, Changing Partners) comes in a close second. At 40 she is hotter then almost all of the Korean actresses right now.

By jmoviereview at 2012-06-03

Korean TV star Jeon Hye Bin, does come in a close 2nd(to Uhm Jung Hwa) though.

Re: Best Looking Actress?

Ooooh, good call on Phoebe Cates. The first time I ever laid eyes on her was when I spotted a photo of her and Willie Aames in one of those supermarket tabloids (it wasn't the National Enquirer because this photo was in color), at some press something for Paradise. I was so immediately smitten with her that I cut out the picture and carried it around in my wallet until it disintegrated. Naturally, I bought Paradise and Fast Times at Ridgemont High as soon as they were released on CED disc (yeah...I know). The husband of a friend of mine actually spent several hours dancing with Phoebe in the early 80s at some club in Atlanta.

Also, I thought that I was the only one with a thing for Charlene Yi. Nice to know I'm not.

Back in the Day

Tracy Scoggins and Morgan Fairchild

Even when I was 5 I felt funny looking at Morgan.

Lots of great choices already mentioned. I always had a thing for Jane Seymour.

Re: Best Looking Actress?

Thread has predictably gone from "Who is the most beautiful actress in the history of movies?" to "Post some pics of hot chicks."

Re: Best Looking Actress?

Alison Brie and Carla Gugino cover my current feelings on the issue, from the younger side to the matured. Maybe throw in Monica Bellucci for good measure.
