Not a big deal, but I hate when local radio hosts or even Howard Stern spoil the previous nights results from reality tv -- specifically The Bachelor or The Apprentice. My wife and I never watch those shows real time so the last thing I want is some bozo telling me the results at 6am.

Roger Ebert gave the film a four-star rating and described it as one that "involves us deeply in the story, and then it reveals that the story is really about something else altogether."[4] Later, during Siskel and Ebert's annual "Memo to the Academy" program, Gene Siskel gave away the surprise twist of the film while giving his review, which infuriated Ebert.
I never knew that.

I fell asleep during The Usual Suspects and woke up for the last few minutes. I knew little about the movie and wasn't aware of a twist ending.
There was a Ghostbusters cartoon that spoiled Citizen Kane's "sled" ending. But I never really saw "Rosebud" as a spoiler for Citizen Kane. It was just kind of a note. If anything, watching Citizen Kane was more of an explanation for that Ghostbusters episode.

I read too much about hyped movies sometimes. Like if JGL's role in Batman turns out to be what was said in the Dark Knight Rises thread, it won't be as much fun when it happens. An unpredictable movie is such a wonderful thing.

I had The Sixth Sense spoiled for me by the internet, but then a friend who had seen it reassured me that what I had read was bullshit, and I believed her. Shortly after I watched the DVD and the original spoiler was right, and my friend had rescued the movie for me!

I wasn't spoiled by it because i had already seen it when it originally aired, but I would have been pissed if I had seen the back of the season 5 dvd for Six Feet Under...
