Looks good, though the M83 track at the end seemed like an odd choice (I associate it snowboarding and red bull ads).

According to IMDb, the budget is $100 million...less than I would have guessed after watching that trailer.

Also worth noting: the film clocks in at 2 hr 44 min.

I don't know anything about the book; the visuals look wonderful, but those narrations sound terrible.

soooo that video of the directors talking about it. Does it stop randomly for everyone else too?

Also..it looks ambitious...don't know if i'm digging it or not. The only part that interested me is the Asian girl robot part, I'm assuming she's a robot that actually is independent and has a "soul" or whatever? Everything else looks alright. The cast is solid....aside from Berry who hasn't done anything worth giving a damn in a while from what I remember.

I also get a Synecdoche New York vibe. All that meaning of life philosophy shit.

If they really pulled this off and made it accessible I could see this movie being a big hit throughout early next year.

Watching the trailer, I thought this thing will have to be 3 hours long.

It looks incredible, but unless the film is just outstanding, it's gonna bomb at the box office.

I can't stand Tom Hanks anymore, but the directors and rest of cast is interesting.

Some of the casting looks questionable, as does the make-up, etc.
