I'm actually very pleased and surprised with AIV lately. A lot of newer films becoming available quickly and free. Whatever. Go Amazon.

I finally saw this 2 weeks ago. I stopped a bit before Gomez left the flick cuz I was a little bored by it but once she left... the film clicked for me. I loved it after her departure. I was tired when I was watching the first half or whatever so maybe I wasn't in the mood for it. Great imagery for sure. I'll have to see it on BD cuz this thing had some great visual and audio.

I'll give this thing a try again at some point.

Second viewing tonight. Hated it the first, liked it the second. First viewing I thought it was very shallow with too much style over substance.
After watching today I noticed that there were layers undr the surface and the subject matter was more complex.

I watched this on Sunday and liked it a lot more than I thought I would. I loved the direction, cinematography, and editing. Franco was hilarious and I really enjoyed all of his monologues about his shit. "Look at all my shit!"
