Speaking of which Giles, have you been to the newly renovated Courthouse in Arlington? I haven't been yet but they have reclining cushy seats, reserved seating, and are finally stadium.

The Mosaic in Fairfax is also a good new one.

the reserved seating is a major plus and it's an AMC first for the DC metro area. It also has 7.1 audio on three of it's auditoriums: 2,4 and 8

and...

"On Thursday, December 13, “The Hobbit” will be playing in all eight theaters – six in 2D, two in 3D – at 12:01 AM"

I saw WIR twice, and could barely keep my eyes open the second time (2D and 3D). I have a feeling I would be more engaged in ROTG if I were to see it again.

Me too. Maybe we are in the clear after all.

Guardians wasn't perfect, but it looked fantastic (give me that blu please) and I just had a great time watching it. I really loved the take on all of the characters. That is what hooked me on from the first trailer and the movie didn't disappoint. A great time at the movies.

Anyone noticed that Jack needed to know his past to move on? There's two schools of therapy, one about moving on from where you are without having to come to terms with your past, and another that you won't be able to move on until you come to terms with your past. Found that very interesting.

It may technically look good, but from a movie standpoint, it looks horrible.

I saw it tonight and loved it! It had heart and the it was just fun.

I was also having a bad day so an uplifting movie like this was just what the Doctor ordered.

He means that technically, from the standpoint of the movie, the thing looks great. But when you look at through a lens, it starts looking murky. So, technically, it looks great murky.

I couldn't keep my eyes open during my first viewing of the movie today ... (got up real early to deal with my drivers licence and DMV) ... why did Ralph break up Vanellope's race car?
