IIRC, she wasn't killed in the book and managed to escape after Carrie started to set the gymnasium on fire.

The beginning of cinema. Remakes are hardly new.

I haven't seen the original movie in years, but it's certainly iconic. I'm not sure a remake could recapture any of that, but I'd be willing to check it out in the theater.

With Chloe having been in R rated movies before, i dont see why everyones flipping shit about 'oh this will just be a shitty remake aimed at the teens'

They can just make her "Hollywood Ugly" the way they did Anne Hathaway in that princess movie. Bad perm, frumpy clothes, glasses.

Moretz is the only reason I have any interest in this one. Right now she seems like she is very happy to get movie roles and gives her all each time. Basically, she hasn't hit the Lohan phase yet.
