We can't react to what we see in the trailers? If they would design a recognizable robot, I'd be stoked.

I really like the tone conveyed by the trailer. The goofy humor is likely still there (at least it feels like a bit of it is present in the trailer) but it might be used sparingly this time around. At least I hope so.

I can't wait to see this.

Part of it was filmed near Olympia, WA and Michael Bay stayed here.

I gave him the key to my pants.

No. The second film first uttered "the transformers" when refering to the Autobots/Decepticons. The first film merely teased with "we've got a blown transformer" gag.

I don't know if anything could top the wingsuit part in Transformers 3.

I can see why Transformers nerds wouldn't like the movies. Best parts of the trilogy weren't based around the Transformers. The most visceral moments revolve around the humans and military. When the Transformers are fighting, it feels like filler.

Grimlock fighting Optimus Prime dates back to the cartoon and was fleshed out in the comics (particularly those from the UK). Basically, Grimlock (and by extension the Dinobots) only works with the Autobots because Optimus Prime bested Grimlock in battle. In the UK comics Grimlock even led the Autobots when Prime was killed. Think of Grimlock as Optimus Prime's Starscream (albeit honorable). Grimlock is loyal as long as Prime doesn't show weakness. If that happens Grimlock takes it as the time to challenge Optimus Prime for the right to lead.

I'm guessing the movie is taking some inspiration from the UK comics version.

Childhoods and comedy were both raped in those scenes.

According to Peter Cullen, Frank Welker is confirmed as Galvatron.

Of course you don't. This movie doesn't have giant robot balls, a cockbot, or rape.

I'm just saying that his favorite movie in the series is clearly Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. Although I suppose it's debatable if the scenes withe dogs were depicting legitimate rape.

Well at the very least, can it be coherently shot?
