Yeah, don't get me wrong...I think Rodriguez is an awesome director and all but Machete; while fun, definitely did disappoint. I get so let down by films that bore the shit out of me....rightly so huh?

hobo started off great like Machete did but just kept losing steam the same way throughout.

Planet Terror and Death Proof were equally great in different ways for me.

This sequel doesn't bother me...how could it? How many big name directors out there are willing to make films like this? More thankful than anything I guess.

I just thought of it this way: Grindhouse itself gets no sequel, yet one of the trailers gets a movie and a sequel. On the one hand that's good, but on the other, WTF.

With how very fun but mediocre Planet Terror was and how boring Death Proof was, I'm okay with the way things panned out. A lot of people hate on Machete for some reason but I'm really looking forward to Machete Kills.
