The Blacklist 2011

The most liked, but unproduced scripts of 2011. Not necessarily overlooked though, since Django Unchained is on there. Some of them sound pretty good, but many of them probably won't be seen for years.

#43 sounds a lot like "God Bless America"

I write screenplays as a hobby hoping to be on the black list someday.

CHEWIE
by Evan Susser, Van Robichaux
A satirical behind the scenes look at the making of
Star Wars through the eyes of Peter Mayhew who
played Chewbacca.
Funny idea, but I can't see how that would get made.

Beyond the Pale sounds intriguing to the horror fan in me.

The Chewie script was pretty good and playful, but it didn't really put Harrison Ford in the best light.

Re: The Blacklist 2011

It's funny going back and seeing what was on the old blacklists to see what was made and what wasn't, along with various script name changes. For example, in the 2008 one, you have The Beaver in the top spot...50/50 is on there as 'I'm With Cancer', Inglorious Basterds, The Descendants, Up In The Air, etc.

My favorite was this one...

THE GARY COLEMAN – EMMANUEL LEWIS PROJECT by Dan Fogelman
“Emmanuel Lewis and Gary Coleman save the world from an evil madman.

SEX TAPE sounds great... when I saw it on Mad About You.
