Re: RIP Harry Morgan

Wow, I actually thought he passed years ago... Anyway, 96 years is a good stretch.

Long life and career. Great actor with a very recognizable voice, he'll be missed.

RIP. M*A*S*H remains one of my favorite shows of all time, and I thought he was a great addition to the cast.

Re: RIP Harry Morgan

Every time I've seen him pop up on TV in recent years I was surprised he was still around. He had a good long run.

M*A*S*H is one of my favorites shows ever.

Re: RIP Harry Morgan

growing up with Dragnet and then M*A*S*H, it was always a thrill to see Harry Morgan in an old western like Ox-bow incident and High noon. quite an unassuming guy, great actor.

For some reason, the first image that comes to mind of him, is a picture that appeared in the newspaper of him with a sly smile back in the 90's. It was an article about his being arrested for beating his wife...the picture made it seem like he was saying "Yeah, I beat my wife...so what?"

RIP

I read that the cause of death was still undetermined. What do they think it was ? The dude was 96. He had a case of OLD. I'll miss him. He was always one of my favourite characters on MASH. The character being from Missouri, he reminded me a lot of some of the old people that I live near.

Great actor, loved him on M*A*S*H. He also had a voice part in one of my favorite childhood animated movies, Flight of Dragons.

I never watched MASH, but every time I saw him on television I remembered a story my grandfather told me. He had taken my mom to watch the filming of The Flim-Flam Man when they were shooting exteriors in Lexington, KY. She was about 7 at the time and was waiting with a bunch of other kids to get Mr. Morgan's autograph. He just blew past the entire group of children and muttered that he wasn't going to sign anything.

He may have been a fine actor, but that story always made me think of him as a prick.
