Resident Evil: Retribution

Three Hot Chicks With Guns: Behind-the-Scenes 'Resident Evil' Video!

Milla Jovovich wants to take you behind-the-scenes of Resident Evil: Retribution boot camp as she's posted a trio of clips on her official Twitter page featuring herself prepping for gunfire alongside stars Michele Rodriguez and Sienna Guillory.

In theaters September 14, 2012 from writer/director Paul W.S. Anderson, Johann Urb plays the leader of the Resistance, who teams with Jovovich's Alice character as she battles the Umbrella Corporation and the swarm of undead.

Colin Salmon, Shawn Roberts, Boris Kodjoe, Oded Fehr, Kevin Durand and Li Bingbing co-star.

Love that they seem to have resurrected Michelle Rodriguez, Colin Salmon, and Oded Fehr.

I'm sure I'd watch this on HBO HD on a boring day, but I'm still trying to get the foul taste of the last entry out of my mouth.

I really liked 1 and 3. Tolerated 2 and hated 4.

Re: Resident Evil: Retribution

I liked the first 3, haven't seen the 4th yet (still waiting for it to get down to my kind of price) but I'll own it just the same. I'm hoping this one is the last in the series, I'm tired of watching one of these only to have it left wide open for yet another sequel. I want to see Retribution (probably own it eventually) but I want to see either Alice & friends or Umbrella & the undead win (rather see Alice & friends win).....period. Conclude the story already.

I hope Retribution is good. -kd5-

Re: Resident Evil: Retribution

I was wondering how old Milla Jovavich is and was shocked that she's still only 35--will be 36 in December. I know she started in the entertainment business at a very young age but she's been around forever. I would have guessed she was in her 40's by now. I was gonna ask how much longer she would be good in these sexy action roles. She's still super hot but something just seems off about a 40 year old female action star. But like I said she's only 35.

There's just something about her. The only role I don't think she looks particularly attractive in is The Fifth Element. I think it's the hair and the outfit. Looks like she's wearing a diaper. Any other time I see her, she just drives me wild.

Re: Resident Evil: Retribution

After trashing the first two so much, I can't believe that I'm anxiously awaiting this. I thought the 3rd one was fantastic and got me hooked.

This is a must see in theaters. I think it has something to do with the cliffhanger, serial-like structure. I enjoy seeing the ultra-progressive technology-fantasy stuff. That darn Umbrella is always one step ahead.

I think they've all been about the same quality for me, looking forward to another. I couldn't put any faces to the names of a lot of those actors though, so I had to look up who was coming "back"

No no no no....Apocalypse was horrendous. I've never wanted to leave a theater ever till I faced that movie. And then..Ultraviolet as well.

Re: Resident Evil: Retribution

Apocapyse was really bad (although the Jill Valentine scenes before Alice shows up were fun). Extinction was great. Afterlife was trashy fun but I hated every line reading from the guy playing Wesker. I hope he's either recast or the character is totally MIA. I'm totally down for Retribution.

BTW Johann Urb is Leon S. Kennedy:

Kevin Durand is Barry Burton:

Li Bingbing is Ada Wong:

Re: Resident Evil: Retribution

I'm a diehard fan of the videogame franchise so I always get suckered into seeing these terrible movies. Even the first one which alot of people deem good was mediocre at best (and definitely the best of the 4 so far)

Re: Resident Evil: Retribution

All four are bad movies for sure, but I'll admit that I did enjoy them all so I'm in for a 5th.

I know this sounds stupid but Kevin Durand being in this makes me want toi see it. I just think he's an enjoyable actor to see.

So how are they bringing back Michelle Rodriguez when she was killed in the first movie?

They're also bringing back Colin Salmon (got cubed in the first movie) and Oded Fehr (blew himself up while smoking some weed in the third movie). As to how, no one knows. Maybe clones?

Hopefully Milla will be making a return to the audio commentary as well, the ones with her for 1&2 were really fun but the the ones without her for 3&4 were boring.

Re: Resident Evil: Retribution

The only complaint I had about the 4th was that it was in 3D and set up a Milla shower scene that it didn't deliver. I hope they address that issue in this one.
