......less cringworthy? lol...uhm...the way he talks in real life...is sometimes not as professional or calm as we might expect him. I'm sure they'd be very cool and at times funny. He's kind like the biggest fanboy of everything cinema that there is. It wouldn't be filled w/ hip internet talk but it'd be like very short bursts of ridiculous awesome.

Forget the Tweets, what about the 3-page .pdf? It's terrible.

You're off topic: don't fucking worry about TWBA...it'll come when it comes. Which is who the fuck knows anymore?!

If it's on IMDB it must be true!

We'll be lucky if we get "The Whole Bloody Affair" in 2014, let alone a full-blown sequel. Also, I doubt it would be called "Vol. 3" since the first two volumes are two halves of a single production.

I'll be excited when we get word from Tarantino. And I'm still waiting for TWBA.

Wasn't she Bill's right-hand woman that got her arm cut off at O'Ren's place.

UPDATE - I was kinda right. She was O-Ren's right-hand woman.

Here's her character description from Wikipedia. Includes a possible spoiler for Part 3.

Spoiler:
Sofie Fatale

Sofie Fatale (played by Julie Dreyfus) is O-Ren Ishii's lawyer, second-in-command, and best friend. Sofie Fatale is of mixed Japanese/French descent and serves as an interpreter and is seen speaking English, Japanese and French fluently. Although she is referred to as a protege of Bill's, she does not display any martial arts skills during her appearances.

Sofie Fatale is present at the "House of Blue Leaves" when The Bride arrives to kill O-Ren Ishii. The Bride is riding her motorbike through Tokyo, stalking Sofie's Nissan Fairlady Z when she is seen at a stop light using her phone; her left-handedness, and later, the phone's "Auld Lang Syne" ringtone is recognized by The Bride. She remembers that Sofie was present during the El Paso massacre, and while she did not assist in beating The Bride, she did callously and calmly answer her ringing phone. The Bride captures Sofie at the House of Blue Leaves and brings her to O-Ren Ishii. The Bride then cuts off Sofie's left arm (the arm she holds her phone with) as a means of both exacting revenge on her and showing Ishii her intentions for a duel.

Later, The Bride interrogates Sofie to learn the location of the rest of the members of the Deadly Viper Assassination Squad, threatening to further dismember her when she refuses to speak. She then sends her rolling down a hill to a hospital for medical attention so she can live on and tell Bill what has happened and that the Bride is still alive. Although her fate is left ambiguous, Tarantino has commented that a potential third Kill Bill movie would focus on the revenge of Vernita's daughter Nikki against the Bride, and that Nikki would be trained by Elle and Sofie. Apparently, Sofie would inherit all of O-Ren and Bill's money.

This will make for a nice double-feature with the Arrested Development movie.

I know he talks about a lot of things that don't pan out, but Tarantino had said he wanted to have the actress who played Vernita's daughter (Ambrosia Kelley) enact revenge when she grows up. I wonder if he's still going to do that, and if this is that film. Kelley just turned 16, so she would be 17, maybe 18 when this would be shot.

When I'm watching the blu ray I'll believe it. Someone let me know what movies it rips off so I don't have to see it in theaters.

Your optimism that this will materialise in 2014 amuses me.

shoot, by then Tarantino will have already moved on to a story about a Former Nazi who moved to California and became a stuntman, gets involved in a group that plans to rob a Jewelry Store but takes out the gangs boss' wife where she promptly overdoses so Ordell Robbie sells him some AK-47s and he decides to KILL BILL O'Reilly.

I want to see this--even if someone else directs it.

If you were Kiddo, and you had just killed Vernita in front of her 4-year old daughter....wouldn't you have killed the daughter, too? I know Kiddo prides herself on her rationality, but wouldn't it be rational that the kid would be gunning for you in 20 years? Wouldn't it be rational to assume you wouldn't be in your best shape in 20 years? Wouldn't it also be rational to assume you would probably lose your life?

Personally, I think it was a mistake to let the kid live. Of course, as a film director, you don't want your audience to hate your heroine, as they all probably would if she had killed the kid. And, you can bet your bottom dollar that Kiddo wouldn't have been able to live with herself if she had.

It's quite a quandry to be in, you ask me. I would have forced myself to live with it, if it meant a choice of killing mysef or allowing my life to go on unfettered.

I can't remember the line but she did say to Vernita's daughter if she wanted revenge she was more than welcome to look her up. So, it wouldn't be no surprise if Vernita's daughter came looking for her.

re: Kill Bill Vol. 3 (D: Tarantino) - Rumors, news, etc.

Why would they still call it Kill Bill, seeing as how
Spoiler:
they already killed Bill?

Speaking of this series, whatever happened to the comic book QT was supposed to write about the DVAS and their exploits, or for that matter, the Anime prequel regarding Bill's origin? I think this thing will happen when these others do, read: never.
