Also, if you've seen the latest Peter Jackson Hobbit movie, Christopher Lee is officially the most badass 92 year old man in the world.

With the white skin and red eyes, it's probably an albino dinosaur. T. rex body and size, but with a raptor-shaped head and much more useful and dangerous arms. Lots of knobs and spikes to look even more imposing.

This still looks like a whole lot of meh. And perhaps it's because the scenes are out of context but Chris Pratt's delivery sounds about as enthusiastic as Harrison Ford's narration in Blade Runner. It's as if he was in paycheck mode while making this movie.

I agree...the "Internet" (meaning social media) is flipping out over how "great" this looks, and I think it looks awful. And I like Chris Pratt.

And I don't care what anyone says - those F/X look HORRIBLE.

It basically looks like more of the same to me. The only changes are cosmetic advances in special effects technology, it's basically a one-note premise. But he's shooting on 35mm, so I suppose I should credit him for that . I'd rather see a whole movie about how the kid survived on the island himself in III, or the game hunger from TLW. But it looks like it's basically "Big scaly things fight each other and chomp on little hairy things while some says some pseudoscientific dialogue about how it's bad for man to play God" while the audience gets off on the bloodshed and special effects shots. Again, I'm sure technical advances will make for a lot of new set pieces, but the fundamental thing is basically that dinosaurs get loose and crush stuff. You can move the setting somewhere else, but it's all basically the same.

That MTV clip is disappointing. The acting is kind of meh and the dialogue is hacky.
