The only thing from that list I'd like to see made is Lethal Weapon 5 and that's only because Shane Black stated that he wanted to write a proper sendoff to those characters. Of course, that was before Gibson had his meltdown and all talks of a LW5 ceased.

wouldn't it technically be Star Wars 8? Or does Clone Wars not count in the grand scheme of things.

Something tells me that the original post is a put on. A nice bit of sarcasm on a Sunday...

Re: Sequels I would like to see made.
I always wanted to see sequels to SHOOT TO KILL and PLANES, TRAINS & AUTOMOBILES...but maybe I should be happy those never happened.
I'm tired of sequels. I'm also tired of movies based on comic books, novels, and TV shows. I want to go back to the days when the majority of movies were original...if you're going to base a movie on a novel, it better be something damn good...like THE GODFATHER or JAWS.

It's between 2 and 3, so closer to 2.5 than anything.
You know, I know they already did a theatrical release of the first few episodes of The Clone Wars, but I wouldn't mind seeing Lucas take another stab at it, maybe doing the last 4 episodes of the series as a theatrical release with the story leading right into Revenge of the Sith.
And while we're on the subject, other Star Wars sequels I'd like to see would be Ep 4.5 (Splinter of the Mind's Eye) and Ep 5.5 (Shadows of the Empire).
