The Most Unintentionally Hilarious Scenes in Dramatic Movies

And I'm meaning at least semi-good quality films otherwise.

My pick is the sadomasochism scene between Tommy Lee Jones and Joe Pesci in "JFK". (Pesci: "Come here, bitch. COME HERE, BITCH!") I know it was meant to be disturbing, but I can't help but crack up every time.

What's yours?

While I don't know if the Wicker Man re-make is supposed to be a drama, horror, or comedy, just about everything in it makes me laugh.

I seem to recall when seeing Attack of the Clones in the theater, during the dramatic romantic scene on Naboo, when Williams' soaring, romantic score stopped dead to emphasize problems in their relationship---there was audible laughter from the audience.

I busted out laughing when the woman got run over by a horse carriage in the Time Machine remake w/ Guy Pearce.

The uhm, oozing tree in The Fountain also comes to mind.

really? Hmm. I can see HOW it can be funny but the way they were doing it didn't come off that way to me considering how fantastical and delusional (Spaniard wise) it was getting

It came across as way overly dramatic and passed into camp territory for me and I broke out laughing, ashame since I otherwise really liked the dramatic pull of the movie. The swan transformations in Black Swan were similar - more jarring than effective for me, just figure theres better way to show delusions.

The clearest example I can think of was when I watched Neil Gaiman's "MirrorMask" at the behest of a friend. I was laughing throughout the entire film because it was so incredibly bad. She eventually shut it off.

As for one single scene, I don't recall what character it was, but my friends and I all died laughing when someone got hit by a car in The DaVinci Code.

Keanu Reeves attempt to act dramatically in anything would suffice for this thread...

Also Godfather III: "Dad....?" *thunk*

Some might consider it unintentional, but the scene in Farewell My Lovely where Mitchum knocks the madame out was great.

I laughed at every horrible "jump" moment in that movie. I still contest it's an light exploitation film masquerading as an art film.

I've seen Casino and Goodfellas so many times, many scenes intended to be serious and to show how evil these guys can be turn into comedic performances, especially with Joe Pesci involved.

We stopped watching the movie right after because, after rewinding it about 20 times, we couldn't take it seriously. I think there were four or five of us watching at the time and we all burst out laughing.

The reveal in Boxing Helena where you see her... in the box with no arms and no legs sent me over the freakin' edge. I laughed so hard I almost passed out. They kicked me out of the theatre in fact.

Death scene in Baz's Romeo and Juliet. Claire Danes' reaction to Leo's death had me rolling in the theater. One of the worst fake cries I have ever seen.

I couldn't find a shorter clip, but if you want to just go to the 6:30 mark to see what I'm talking about

My friend started cracking up during The Wrestler when Mickey Rourke

Spoiler:
Cut his hand on the deli slicer, then started running out of the grocery store.

He then looked at me expecting me to laugh, and then of course yeah I ended up laughing as well.

Robocop - when that goon becomes all deformed from the toxic waste drenching and starts stumbling around gasping "help me!"...then walks in front of the speeding car, splattering him all over the place. Add to that the reaction and look on his buddies face when they bump into eachother. That shit was all kinds of funny.

I don't know if that qualifies as dramatic or unintentionally hilarious.

I don't think that was unintentionally funny.
