This one and Bad Teacher I keep getting mixed up...I can't wait for both to be out so I don't have to see the previews for them anymore.

Didn't think it looked too great, but it's got The Bunk. Will give it a rental for that reason alone.

well this movie is doing double what BT got...god, I hated that movie. It was worst film I've seen this year...granted...I didn't see many..but...BT was pretty fucking bad. Mediocre to the fucking extreme. Also...I had never seen Diaz on a theater screen..but holy fuck did her skin not look good. Face is still wierd and she sure as hell isn't some fucking gorgeous woman compared to what I guess what would've made more sense...ok...I'm calm. Bit of a rant there...it's just...fuck i hated that movie.

Saw it last night at midnight. I found it scremaingly funny. Jennifer Anston has never been better. Colin Farrell has never been this loopy (unless if In Bruges was loopy to you), and Kevin Spacey is in full-Swimming With Sharks mode and then some. I will not spoil the big surprise (not even in a spoiler box), but that moment is going to make you exclaim "WTF" literaly, as it almost comes totallly out of left field. And Jamie Foxx runs with his role of Jones, and the reveal of his first name and what he got pinched for is the stuff of big laughs. Also, Jason Bateman, Jason Sudekis, and Charlie Day are all terrific as well, with Day getting some of the biggest laughs. There's a bit where's he's in the car by himself and he singing The Ting Tings out loud. It's hilarious. And the ending is just pitch-perfect. Makes up for the slight disappointment that was The Hangover Part II big time, and the audience seemed to agree. One person said as he was leaving the theater that he "was laughing so hard that he almost couldn't breathe.". While it's not quite on that scale, I scremaingly laughed about nine times throughout the film. I had a killer good time. A definite must-see (especially if you hate your boss
).

Saw it. Laughed so hard I was hurting afterward. They should scrap a Three Stooges reboot and just let Bateman, Sudekis, and Day make more movies together. They know how to deliver the laughs, but then again so did everyone else. I think this might require a second viewing as my mostly packed theater (rare for a 2:20 in the afternoon show) was still laughing over some of the lines.
This was what comedy is supposed to be, clever with a bit of physical humor. Not overblown re-hashes (Hangover 2) or raunchiness for its own sake (Bad Teacher).

^Damn right - in a summer which featured The Hangover 2, Horrible Bosses is actually this summer's The Hangover. A very fun, hilarious movie with a great cast. I love Charlie Day on It's Always Sunny, he is one of my favourites, and I think this movie will do for him what Hangover did for Galifanakis (I can only hope he delivers better movies though). After the laziness that was the awful Bad Teacher, this is a real breath of fresh air. Sure the plot is predictable and I saw every beat coming, but it has JOKES throughout and killer lines. I loved the chemistry between the leads, especially Day and Sudeikis - plus no one plays the straight man like Jason Bateman. I usually think that Jaime Foxx totally suxx but his character was great, especially the reveal of why he did hard time.
The best laugh per minute comedy of the year so far. Really impressed with it, who knew Sam Weir had it in him

Saw this today and loved it. I was expecting it to be decent from the trailers but I liked it a lot more than I thought. One of the best comedies I've seen this year. The whole cast was really good and delivered laughs. The only thing was I found Charlie Day's character a tad on the annoying side at times but even so not bad. I'm not normally her biggest fan but Jennifer Aniston in this movie=

I'm enjoying the resurgence of R-rated comedies, and "Horrible Bosses" had a slow build-up at times, but the last half-hour was very fun and engaging.
Basic premise: 3 friends with horrible boss situations at their workplace, and one night over dinner/drinks, the idea of how much better their lives would be if their bosses were out of the picture at work comes about, and this gets the film's plot going. Lots of humor from their incompetence in putting their plan into action is put to good use. The script probably fired off a few too many F-bombs early on, but the dialogue gets betters as the film rolls on.
Charlie Day, Jason Sudeikis and Jason Bateman are the 3 amigos, and horrible bosses include Kevin Spacey (over-controlling CEO with jealousy issues), Jennifer Aniston (a nice bundle of sexual harrassment), and Colin Farrell (sporting quite the combover and insensitivity traits). The entire cast plays off one another quite well, though the directing could have been tighter, and the script could have been leaner with profanity - I don't mind profanity, but it's best used with clever intent, and not bludgeoned with it just because the film is R-rated).
I give it 2.75 stars, or a grade of B-

My only concern is that some of my fellow forum members have similar life situations as these characters, unless of course it's like Charlie Day's character, in which case you can just shut up and enjoy the ride.
