Road to Nowhere (2011) - Monte Hellman returns

This appears to be Monte Hellman's (Two Lane Blacktop) first feature length motion picture since the 1980s. Or at least his first significant one.

I know this premiered at festivals in 2010. Has anyone seen this yet?

I'm really looking forward to it, and it should be a crazy flick.

The trailer was just released not too long ago. Maybe someone could embed it.

It's starting to see release in theaters. Actually a local theater 'round my parts of Miami is doing something special starting with Two-Lane Blacktop. I got to interview Hellman ahead of it for my blog:

This is a very challenging movie. It really leaves you on your own to figure things out. I've watched it once so far. I'll watch it again probably before I give it a real assessment. I thought it was okay from the first viewing. It may grow on me if I watch it a few more times. Thats the way Monte's previous films have effected me.
