Not sure what they're going for with that music...

I was hoping for a little something more exciting to bring me back in, but that trailer didn't do much.

I stopped watching the Saw movies after #3. This won't bring me back.

I love the franchise, but I cant say that was a great trailer.

I've seen all 7 movies and own all 7, I'll be there in theaters come October.

The series is one of my favorite guilty pleasures.

I am curious how they integrate John Kramer/Jigsaw back since he's been dead for several movies.

I hope it has the Lionsgate horror movie intro on it, the one done in red that looks like its opening the doors to hell.

This looks as needless as the last four sequels. Might catch it on Netflix.

Also, this will completely bomb in theaters.

Whalburg?

You're from his state and can't spell his name right? It's Wahlberg.

He was in 2-4

Meh, spelling has never been my strong suit.

He was in 2? I don't remember that at all, unless I'm combining the two in my head. All i really remember from 2 is the syringe pit...

Donnie's character Eric Matthews was the lead detective investigating the Jigsaw murders in 2. That's when he was introduced.

He was captured at the end and held prisoner in 3. And then he was killed off in IV.

He was also involved in a relationship with Dina Meyer's character IIRC which led to his divorce.

I have zero faith in Josh Stolberg & Pete Goldfinger's script

I have all the faith in the world in The Spierig Brothers.

I'm not familiar with their work, what should I seek out first?

They haven't done much but out of their three full-length features, I would check out Daybreakers first.

Yes, on everything! Love this isn't prequel which I thought. Looks awesome. I'm actually gonna start marathon of all topped with 3D of 7...

Daybreakers and Predestination are fantastic films.

Opens this week. I feel like I've barely seen any marketing for this. I would've thought they would try and launch this pretty hard.

Mainly trailers at the theater. Plus I follow some horror groups and it's being discussed. I only have a slight interest.

The first is a classic. The rest are meh, and the whole Hoffman storyline is just laughable. But I know I will see this at some point.

Is that a rhetorical question?
