Of course they are sold out of the three I was interested in buying (Tan, Danger, and Slater). Danger is putting up his remaining Silent Hill prints in about 15 minutes so I'll grab one from there.

Re: Mondo/Alamo Drafthouse Screen Printed Movie Posters
LOL. I've never seen myself mentioned so many times in a thread I haven't even posted in.
I work right around the corner downtown from Mondo... I'll be swinging by to look in the almighty red boxes tomorrow as I haven't checked by in a while. I'll let y'all know what's there. BTW, if you're in the store... just go right for the red box... you're allowed to look through it (the best stuff is usually hidden in there between prints).
I still LOL when people look at my Iron Man 2 Stout Variant in the living room and say "You must really love Iron Man 2!" I just go "Uh, it was alright. The poster is epic though" Don't even own it on Blu-ray.
I recommended Hollywood Framing? I think you have me credited wrong. I buy cheap 27x40 frames and gussy them up by adding custom matting from eBay (highly suggested for best value). If you are in Austin, Balcones Frame gives 20% off custom framing if you bring in a Mondo print. No shit. Deal they worked out with Justin.
Speaking of phone ordering... I did that when the Halloween/NoES posters came out about 2 years ago. I was in another state and it was in-store only at first. They held them for me till I got back to Austin. Not sure if they still do that.

I am planning to take True Grit to Balcones and do something special. But if I like the Hollywood frame I will probably be ordering more for the 24x36 Mondo Star Wars prints.

In case you missed this custom in the Criterion thread.
How cool would joint projects from Mondo and Criterion be? Seems like a natural fit.

Re: Mondo/Alamo Drafthouse Screen Printed Movie Posters
That's right, you recommended the article! Well at any rate I ordered a 30x40 Deluxe frame for my Let The Right One In Tyler Stout Quad today. The lady who cuts the frames to size actually emailed to confirm it was actually 30x40. She also recommended the non-glare UV Plexi, but I passed. Not sure if I would like the look or not and it's going in my exercise room where there is not a lot of light. Anyways it seemed to be a reasonably priced option for such a large print.

Congrats on the LTROI poster. That's one good lookin' poster. One of the many times I've lost his lottos
I'm in the mood to grab a poster today. Hopefully the Mondo store will comply.

Stout released the info for his email lottery tomorrow. Regular SW prints are $375 a set and the Variant set is $475. He has about ten regular sets that he will break up and sell for $125 a piece.

Mondo Store stock update....
2 True Grit (regular version) - both slightly damaged (one had a crease from improper rolling, the other had some print damage). Haggle.
Still a bajillion of the Star Wars 'Attack Position'
A few Star Wars 'Greedo' prints
Olly Moss' 'Jackie Brown' prints (been there forever)
Iron Man 2 (non-Stout version... not sure the artist)
Fantastic Fest '10 Prints
... That's about it. Not too exciting. The Stout 'Star Wars' prints are currently in-store waiting to be numbered, so expect them to be shipped in the next week or so. Might see a few in-store after that.

They arrived today, along with a free small Clara Bow poster and a postcard whose graphics I can't place. The freebies were definitely a nice touch. Has anyone else ordered from Inside the Rock Posters, and if so did they also receive any extras?

Re: Mondo/Alamo Drafthouse Screen Printed Movie Posters
There are a couple of print drops at Mondo tomorrow.
http://www.slashfilm.com/cool-stuff-...-santa-sangre/
TMNT and Santa Sangre (this one is available at the screening tonight)
Passes for me.
No dice on the Stout lottery for me. Started sooner than I thought today and there was no chance of me getting a Variant set if I was selected.

TMNT and Santa Sangre at up.
EDIT: And TMNT is sold out. Wow. That was quick.
I'm sure that Santa Sangre is a case of a poster that looks much better in person.

The Santa Sangre poster did look much better in person, I was at the screening. Unfortunately I didn't have the scratch to pick one up, I'm very bummed about that.
