Fuck those kind of parents. I used to get crazy complaints about trailers being too [fill in the blank] for their sensitivities. In life, sometimes, you see or hear things you may not like or agree with. Live with it.

I'm sure this won't be nearly as good as the first movie, but it looks funny enough and I'll definitely see it in theaters.

Wow, this sucks.
Liam Neeson's Cameo Cut From The Hangover Part II
Source: Variety April 9, 2011
Variety reports that Liam Neeson's cameo as a Bangkok tattoo artist in The Hangover Part II has been cut. Actor/writer/director Nick Cassavetes has been re-cast in the role that was originally envisioned for Mel Gibson.
Director Todd Phillips told the trade that he cut the scene that immediately followed Neeson's cameo, so if he had left the cameo in, the following minutes apparently wouldn't have made sense.
Instead, Phillips wanted to reshoot the cameo scene to make it fit, but Neeson is already shooting Clash of the Titans 2 and was not available.
"We were in a complete time crunch so I called up Nick and asked if he would do the part," Phillips said. "He came in and crushed it and that is the scene that you will ultimately see in the film."

You are not special. You are not a beautiful or unique snowflake. You're the same decaying organic matter as everything else.

I was under the impression that they did shoot with Neeson, but since they have now cut an adjacent scene, they need to reshoot the tattoo parlor in order to reinsert dialogue that was originally to have occurred in the now excised scene. Neeson is not available for the reshoot, hence the recasting.

Yeah, this flick shouldn't have been made......couple of big laughs though.

I rented this and still thought it was pretty good. Didn't have near as many laugh out loud scenes as the original, but there was enough laughs in it to get a passing grade. Even though the premise was similar to the first one, I still thought they put in a decent effort this time. In some sequels, like National Treasure 2 or Rush Hour 3, you can feel the laziness put on by the cast and crew.

Upon second viewing the movie is still pretty decent but not as funny as the first one. Alan annoyed me a lot more in this one than he did in the first one to be honest. I like Galifianakis but he overdid it a lot in this film and I wanted him to tone it down a bit. The movie still had it's moments but not as memorable. Hopefully the third film will redeem this one a bit and maybe change up the formula (which it sounds like they're planning to do according to a post in The Hangover Part III thread but who knows).
