You Again - quick review
Basic summary: Marni wasn't too popular in high school, tormented by head cheerleader Joanna. Fast forward to Joanna being engaged to Marni's brother Will, and Joanna treats Marni like nothing ever happened between her and Marni. But eventually the truth of Joanna's character comes out. Side-saddle that subplot with Mani's mother Gail and Joanna's Aunt Ramona who re-unite for the upcoming wedding planning after decades from their own BFF relationship breaking up in high school, and you get a movie that is just listless and lifeless for most of its running time.
This movie features a pretty terrible script, and even the principle cast (Kristen Bell as Marni, Jamie Lee Curtis as Gail, Sigourney Weaver as Ramona) can't really save it, plus some poor casting in other prominent roles didn't help (both Odette Yustman as Joanna and James Wolk as Will can't really bring either acting acument or fire to their performances).
I give it 2 stars or a grade of C.

Awful. Very good cast wasted on a script with no comedy and NO TEETH. The trailers promised something more fun, with a bit of a mean streak, and the movie is just so flat and lifeless for the duration, you'll be wishing you'd just stuck to the trailer. Awful.
