Serves me right. I was given MANY chances to watch that during the October challenge, but I always assumed it wasn't "Horror enough" so I kept putting it aside.

I'm playing. But Riki-Oh is the only movie I've seen since the game has resumed (Still amazed how you figured that one out, as well)

Oh, it's "horror enough" all right. It falls in with graphic breed of modern horror people like to call torture porn, but it's better than the average gorn schlock. It's formulary but quite good, IMO (7.5/10).
That shot just struck a chord with me as being part of the opening scene where the prisoners arrive. I wasn't absolutely positive, but the movie happens to be up on Google Video in its entirety, so I was able to confirm without pulling out my DVD.
That sounds like a good idea, if obscurelabel is around to work some of his magic.

Assuming this is a guess and not commentary , no. One of the cast members of Playing God (1997) does have a family connection to an actor in this film, though.
