Where'd they get the footage for that fan trailer? I know it's based on the latest trailer but the video quality was so good I could actually see the film grain in the shots. The HD trailer from IGN looks very soft by comparison.

I'm not sure if that guy knew what domestic violence mainly pertains to but..yeah...I did like the trailer. The only other "bro" marketing I've seen and that I liked very much was this:

In the context of that trailer:

Domestic = "homegrown, American, within the continental United States"
Violence = "the stuff they do in EXPENDABLES movies--shooting off guns, kickin' ass, blowin' shit up real good"

I don't really care that Mickey Rourke isn't in the sequel but what is unfortunate to me is if him and Van Damme had been in this together it may have gotten Double Team released on Blu-Ray.

It will happen eventually, Sony isn't scared of catalog releases.

Paradise Alley 2: Carboni's Revenge!

I really want to see more of this girl in action. Yu Nan has worked w/ Dolph twice now. EX2 being the 2nd and a movie called Diamond Dogs being the first. She's also the oddest member in terms of being an actor. She's like..award winning actress type of stuff from what I see in her work. Interesting. Wonder how she'll do around all those fucking manly motherfuckers and Chuck Norris. Nice insert into the crew though.

Apparently she's know more for dramatic roles, I don't know if she knows any martial arts or not, I'd hate to stereotype that she does just because she's Chinese. I'm guessing she's there to get the film a wide Chinese release. On that subject, wonder who's doing the fights for this one? I'm guessing Corey Yuen Kwai won't come with Li for his small cameo, it'll probably be Chad Stahelski again. As ever, I wish for some Hong Kong flavor, BR his work on the previous Expendables, Safe, and Killer Elite, so at least his resume is impressive. Hopefully they'll have learned from the previous movie and cut the fights properly. Lots of top-level martial artists here-Lundgren, Li, Statham, Couture, Adkins, Van Damme-sure hope they get to show off.

Incidentally, I've never see the "also" credit before. The "with" and "and" are apparently big deals within the SAG, is this a new thing or just something they thought would sound cool?

Meh, I'm more interested in Donnie Yen Ji-Dan, Cyril Rafelli, or Marc Dacascos. Maybe Iko Uwais after the US release of the The Raid, but I'm not holding my breath. Hey, I'm a martial arts fan, what can I say? Michael Duikoff would make an awesome villain, and I would say no to seeing some 80s action icons like Carl Weathers or Michael Bhein show up either.

I loved Chuck's nod to the screen after he blew stuff up in that latest TV spot.
