Best Stunts performed by the actual actor

Like it says....what are some of the best stunts performed by the actual actor and not a stuntman/stuntwoman?

I could just name Jackie Chan and he'd probably be on the top but...he's a whole different world of actor doing stunts. In fact...he's for the lack of a better name..a stuntman actor. so...my point to this is that I'm talking about an actor, whose sole purpose is to act in the film, doing a damn good stunt. I guess Harold Lloyd and Buster Keaton would be up there too. I guess Jackie fits the bill either way...I mean..stunts are his specialty but...I mean..we watch them cuz of that but cuz..he's so dang cool as a character in his films...well....most of them.

Also provide video clips if you can...

i can't even tell nowadays.

the stuff in The Expendables was mostly genuine i believe and pretty good.

i know Tom Cruise got some love for stuff he did on Knight and Day, but who knows.

the free running in District B13 was genuine and quite awesome!

As much as I love Jackie Chan and I admire him for doing most his own stunts, don't fall for the Rumble In The Bronx ad campaign. He's used stunt doubles throughout his whole career. He just prefers not to whenever possible. That caveat aside, he's an excellent choice to start the list.

Yeah, how do you delineate from a stuntman who just comes in as a double and a stuntman who is actually in the film? Nevermind, I see that you asked for just a thespian actor; I would think Tom Cruise doing to the climbing in MI:2 would be one.

Dar Robinson was in the film Stick as an actual character and performed an awesome fall with nothing to catch him on the ground.

I'd say Jason Statham did a pretty good job in The Transporter; supposedly that was all him. Or is he too close to being a stuntman since he's more of an "action actor"?

Also, it was more of a fight scene than stunt driven, but it seems to be the real people connecting real punches to the face in the brawl in Good Will Hunting. You can see the impact and redness from where the knuckles connect to the faces.

We're asking about actors, not lumps of wood.

i would be very hesitant to agree that those were real punches hitting real faces, especially on the mugs of Affleck and Damon.

Adrien Brody did all of his own stunt driving for King Kong, some of it looked pretty cool/dangerous.

I'd say Statham is a good choice. He may be an action actor now but he got started in non action roles. And that's how he got into business via Guy Ritchie...loved him in Lock Stock and Snatch.

Oh no..I know about that. For sure. He used one guy specifically, I think he was named Andy, for several stunts. I got to admire that guy cuz well..Jackie Chan was older and this guy was a good sub for him. He did some stunt and fight choreography for the Scorpion King I know that....dunno what he did after.

Chan for example didn't know how to ride a motorcycle so that motorcycle used by his character in Police Story 1 wasn't him..lol.

This scene bothers me cuz it hurts so much...can't believe he did it twice. James Rolfe is incorrect stating for JC's supposed lack of stuntdouble but everything is pretty solid here. I think some of the ones he picks are rather weak in comparison to much better Jackie stunts...but anyway. The homage to Harry Lloyd at the 4 min. mark....god..I can't believe he did it more than once.
