Speaking of Dellamorte Dellamore, I just saw Rupert Everett on TLC commenting on the royal wedding. What the hell did he do to his face?

I never got to see this at the theater, so I'm watching it on Blu-ray. I don't see why everyone's giving it such a hard time. It's not great, but it's fun, which is all I expected out of this.

And I'm liking the Groucho Marx nods as well.

I'm glad their at least nods to Groucho marx since I'm sure Dylan's sidekick from the comics would've been too much for audiences to handle.

Is this already out on BD or did you just rent it?

It was ok. Felt like a low-budget Hellboy in terms of content, pacing and style. Solid B if rented... maybe less if I paid more money to see it. It was fun.

Positives: I liked the extensive use of practical effects. Tonally it was sort of like "Constantine" if that movie didn't take itself so seriously. Taye Diggs made for an effective villain, hes underused though. I liked the sidekick.

Negatives: The script is as paint by the numbers as it gets. The female lead is literally a non-character. She has no personality, is given nothing to do and disappears for large chunks of the movie for no apparent reason. The acting was fairly bad across the board including Routh. He was bland and drab in this but then again hes bland and drab in everything. This really should have been an R rated movie.
