Ahh well I registered, I'm gonna post my charming opinion as well.

Michael Cera - First impression was in Arrested Development. Guy is a puss.
I had to force myself just to get through 2 seasons of that crap.
This is no surprise to me, because I hate television and therefore do not watch it.

His work in movies - I'm seen Juno (why god why?), Superbad, Year One, and Scott Pilgrim.
His role in Superbad was fitting. Year One was halfway decent, but not because of Cera.
My first impression of Scott Pilgrim vs The World Movie was WTF is this crap?
Not because I thought the movie was bad, but because Cera in a leading role just doesnt work.
As said before, he seems to play the same role over and over. Even when that role is a whiney, goofy looking, always worried about every little thing type of character. I wonder if that's just how he is in real life. I've definitely seen enough of him, and I would not intentionally subject myself to anymore.

He's not my favorite actor but I don't think he deserves all the hate he gets. I like him in Juno, Nick & Norah's Infinite Playlist, Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, and of course Arrested Development.

Agreed. Year One may be one of the worst movies I have ever seen.

I liked him in Superbad, SPvsTW, and Juno. Otherwise..no other of his projects has interested me.

Unfortunately yes. Scott Pilgrim was terrific despite him, not because of. The guy has a face I'd just like to dropkick, I don't give a shit how good Arrested Development was, that shit was ages ago.

There's a difference between liking movies and liking shit.. i.e. Year One. That was one of the worst comedies made in the past 10 years.

I don't care for Cera, but given the Scott Pilgrim character from the comic I would say he fit the role very well. I wouldn't say it was terrific despite him at all.

Loved him in Scott Pilgrim, and I am a huge fan of that movie. I have to say I have liked him, and I have liked many of his projects.

He was great in Youth in Revolt. I wouldn't say I'm a fan of his, but I definitely don't hate or dislike him.
