I'm watching Predators on HBO and it's hilarious to me how the predators have huge heads and small bodies. I can't be the only one that noticed this.

I liked Predators. I've been hoping for a sequel.

I'd also like to see a sequel, but I don't want Rodriguez to direct it. I can't think of a film of his I really loved since Sin City.

I'd also love a follow up w/ the two leads returning...just make it more gritty and stop trying to make it too cool.

I think Rodriguez should direct instead of Antal. Predators was fun as hell, but RR should do one himself.

Let's wait until we see wtf SC2 is like cuz Rodriguez himself hasn't been hot lately.

Like has been mentioned, all he did was produce it. I couldn't see much even from that angle -- it didn't have a RR feel to it.

Still don't understand the hate for Machete, either. I thought it was well done and very entertaining.

I enjoyed it as well but it was still weak. Would love to get the extended cut...I've no idea if RR will actually bring it out or not.

Weak in comparison to what? It's one of the most violent/gory movies I had ever seen. It had that Planet Terror/Sin City vibe.

Yes yes YES. No way was any of it fun or remotely entertaining. No Nimrod or Rodriguez intervention if they decide to make another one. This franchise just needs to be rebooted since everything else seems to be. Looks like no one's in a rush to though.

Should of thrown logic and coherency right out of the window for Machete - you would have enjoyed it more.

The only entertainment value was in laughing at its stupid cliches, generic characters, bad dialog, and abundant plot holes. Just seeing Adrian Brody in his commando outfit, acting all tough and talking in his husky Batman voice
was enough to leave me in stitches. Can you imagine someone watching the original with Arnold, Jesse the Body, Carl Weathers, Sonny Landham, etc. and thinking it was a good idea to cast the guy from The Piano, Eric Forman and a girl as the leads? The people making these horrible sequels and reboots have no clue what made the originals so much fun in the first place. Definitely makes sense that the director's name is Nimrod.

It was bad, but so bad that it was funny. Laughed at the insanity of alien hunting dogs. Laughed at how the prey is just tossed from the sky. What kind of challenge is that in hunting bashed up prey? Laughed at someone would take the time to kill their own kind on a foreign planet while being hunted done by monstrous aliens. (Yes, I got the "joke" of the title but it was stupid.) Please, no sequels. Just reboot the thing. Make a new first film and even redesign the predators to give it a different feel.

Of all the sequels to Predator, this one was the best of the lot. It wasn't great, but it was the closest any of the movies got to matching the fun of the original.

Maybe the next predators movie would be better if they put xenomorph aliens in it as well.
