The picture is not currently rated, although I do remember reading not too long that the studio was looking for a PG-13. It doesn't look too bad, and I actually enjoyed Quarantine, so I'll give this one a go. Also, I really dig the poster.

I think this looks awful, and I'm probably one of the biggest M. Night fans on this forum. This just looks like a throw-away horror flick. But, of course, it's just an early trailer... and maybe the movie itself will fare better. I'll probably net-flix it.

I'm convinced someone replaced M Night with a cardboard cutout during the premiere of Unbreakable. Either that or he got a lobotomy and it didn't make the press.

Hmm, looks interesting to me. But since this is attached to M. Night and I want to fit it with dvdtalkers...just to be safe, I'll say that it will probably suck and i have Zero interest in seeing this.

This might be the best thing for his career at this point. Throw his name on a few low budget horror flicks and watch them print money for the studio. The teenagers won't know he didn't direct them.

I thought the trailer looked good, just dont know why they say from the mind of M. Night. Hes not the director or writer.

M.Night comes up with the stories, then has someone else direct and write while he godfathers the project. Luc Besson does a similar schtick these days.

It seems to be enough to get a theatre release. Look at the cast - the biggest stars are Bokeem Woodbine and Geoffrey "I, in defiance of natural law, get to have sex with Christina Hendricks" Arend. Shyamalan has some brand power left in him, I suppose.

Probably (as others mentioned) the same reason why Quentin Tarantino's name was on Hero, Iron Monkey and both Hostel films. To get butts in the seats.

saw the trailer before Inception. When M Nights name came up, people either cheered or booed. And alot of people seemed invested in the trailer until his name came up
