It picks up at the one minute and eleven second mark. This flick looks interesting and it's been getting good reviews.

yup you are right.
I got the DVD today in the mail. It's anamorphic video, DD 5.1 Serbian, and perfect English subtitles.
The animation is decent, but the problem is the story - it's totally like an unnecessarily complicated Japanese anime. I think a schizophrenic person wrote the story. Well, Serbian animation has to start somewhere!

Got my dvds today (ordered multiple for shipping purposes - and these'll make great gifts).
Enjoyed it quite a bit. Story was interesting - definitely not as over-elaborate and mumbo-jumboish as most anime - no problem following it at all. Most distinct European themes to both the design/characters/story themes as well. A lot of reminders of Jodorowsky, Moebius, Enki Bilal and other writers/artists.
The ending was distinctly different than you might imagine from any similarly patterned anime piece. Enjoyed it a lot.

This film is getting a 3D blu-ray release in Germany in January 2011 - dubbed in English: http://www.bluray-disc.de/blu-ray-fi...n-blu-ray-disc
I wonder if there is a choice to watch it just 2D style.

amazon.de doesn't list any 3d version: just 2 disk blu-ray: http://www.amazon.de/Technotise-Blu-...4292883&sr=8-1
and a 2 disk dvd version.

Looked very motion-comic like... or cut-scenes from a video game where they cut as much movement out as possible to save cost. I didn't care for the style at all.
Now if it was a Croatian animated movie I'd forgive all that and love it to death (but deep down think it looked poopey)

It's not worth it to buy the blu-ray. The DVD was perfectly fine, and furthermore the movie wasn't that great. It's a dust collector on a shelf.
