Movies you're surprised never had a sequel

Not that I would have necessarily wanted it , but I'm shocked "My Cousin Vinny" never spawned some god awful sequel... like "My Cousin Vinny in Europe", or "My Cousin Vinny at the Country Club", etc.

The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai. False advertising!

History of the World: Part I

Come on... the title pretty much told us a sequel was coming. ;)

Wasn't Big Trouble in Little Chinatown reworked from the Buckaroo Banzai sequel?

My pick: Pretty Woman

When I was a kid I always assumed there would be a Flash Gordon sequel but it never happened. Same with the Goonies.

It's Joe Pesci ... every movie he was in after that was a sequel to My Cousin Vinny. ;)

I more suprised that My Cousin Vinny didn't spawn a television spin-off series.

I am surprised they didn't make a sequel to The Incredibles. That seemed like it could make a profitable little franchise.

That's a great pick, as I would love to see a sequel.

Sadly, Cars 2 is on the way, though.

I know I am in the minority, but I liked cars alot more. I hope the sequel is good.

I'm shocked that we haven't had a Ferris Bueller's Day Off sequel yet. As goofy as it may seem, I still expect to see that one eventually, and if we don't then I'll still be surprised. A sequel pretty much writes itself.

It's still planned as far as I know. I read once Brad Bird is finished with 1906 he would start working on the sequel.

I still want a Bubba Ho-Tep sequel or prequel.

They actually planned to make My Cousin Vinny sequel but cancel due to Marisa Tomei wanted more money.

Return of the Jedi. I would have rather seen episodes 7-9 instead of 1-3.

It takes time to get these movies made. I am surprised Disney channel didn't make a TV series based off of it.

The Last Dragon seemed like the kind of movie where a sequel would of been obvious but it never happened.

Golden Compass.

Movie didn't do well at the box office so the sequel was canned.

That would be good, although he's slated to be the director for the next installment of Mission Impossible after 1906 as well.
