The Goonies...admittingly...I haven't seen it as a kid but I hated since I was a kid. I thought it was boring...but maybe cuz the stuff I grew up with was action movies demanding that I needed shit to be taken down via Arnold or Sly.
and The Karate Kid franchise. The only thing I like about it is Mr. Miyagi. Everything else can go to hell in it.
Any and All Seagal films. As a child to an adult...none of his films entertain me.

No Country For Old Men. I like the villain. I like the way most of the movie was shot. The problem is, there isn't much of a storyline. Or much of a reason to give a shit about anything.

Avatar- yeah it was cool to look at but I hated this movie. Too damn long and preachy. The story was also pretty boring.
Monty Python and the Holy Grail- I don't know I think I've just outgrown Monty Python stuff in general. I don't find their movies or tv show as funny anymore. This one in particular I never really got what the big deal was though. There's some funny bits but overall I didn't think it was that great.
A Nightmare on Elm Street (the entire franchise)- I always thought that Freddy was a cool character but I never really liked any of the Nightmare movies that much. I just got the first on Blu-ray and watched it after many years and I just feel like it hasn't held up that well at all.

Off the top of my head (long list)
Fight Club
The Usual Suspects
The Matrix
Magnolia
Kill Bill 1 & 2
Se7en
Pulp Fiction
Reservoir Dogs
The Dark Knight
Batman Begins
Spider-Man 1 & 2
The Deer Hunter
The Searchers
Anything by Woody Allen
A Clockwork Orange
Barry Lyndon
Edward Scissorhands
Big Fish
Forrest Gump
The Curious Case of Benjamin Button
The Exorcist
Monty Python and the Holy Grail
Boogie Nights
Almost anything by Brian De Palma (except Carrie and Blow Out, I liked those two)
The Lion King (and most of Disney's 1990's work)
Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb
Spirited Away (the choice I'll probably get the most flak for, but it bored me. Miyazaki has done much better).
The Departed
Infernal Affairs
Gladiator
Braveheart
Platoon
Stalker
Andrei Rublev
Bride of Frankenstein (This is the only one on the list that I actually like, but it baffles me that so many people prefer this over the original).
That's all I can think of at the moment. There's probably more that I'm forgetting though.

I have the same problem with Saving Private Ryan as so many others I've talked to, the beginning first 40 or so minutes works and is amazing then once we get past that it goes right into Spielberg mode. Pretty much Band of Brothers, even though Spielberg is only an executive producer, is everything that Saving Private Ryan could have been. One film I'm glad that didn't get love because it came out the same year as Ryan, and now is getting a lot of love and is being seen as the better war film that came out that year, is The Thin Red Line.
I'll add to the list The English Patient. I've tried at least 3 times to watch this film at least like it, but I can't for the life of me see why this film is so great and people love it so much. I'm glad that over the years people have started to come around that the Coen brothers should have walked away with all the awards that year.

The Blues Brothers - horrible pacing and one dimensional main characters. It's only redeeming value is the parade of classic R&B artists, but that's not what most people talk about.

2001: A Space Odyssey
I've tried probably a dozen times to actually set aside the time, sit down, concentrate and watch the movie from beginning to end and I just can't do it.
I appreciate the work that went into it and I appreciate it's place in film history, but it is quite simply the most boring movie I've ever attempted to watch and I just can't get through it. I've tried really hard many times and it just doesn't work for me. And it's not just its slow pace as I enjoy other "slow" movies. I can't say exactly what I don't like about it, but I really don't like the movie even though I really want to.
I second No Country for Old Men. Don't understand the love for it at all. Ditto The Hurt Locker.

The Sixth Sense-My least favorite M. Night Shymalan movie. Once you get the twist the first time, it has nothing else really going for it.
Titanic-don't think I need to elaborate

This thread rocks, I know whose recommendations to avoid now
I agree with Boondock, it was critically derided but people seemed to have taken a liking to it, crappy flick.

The Shawshank Redemption -- it's OK in a sort of "movie of the week" way, but it never goes beyond average in any capacity except for a few performances.
Forrest Gump -- a vile, horrific, "let's group-wank sentimental Baby Boomers for 2 hours" exercise. One of the most evil and intellectually insulting movies ever made.
I got plenty more but those are my two big ones.

I don't understand why most people seemed to love Children Of Men. My wife & I both hated that movie, my thoughts are that if that's what we turn into when faced with a disaster, then humanity deserves to render itself extinct. What a thoroughly depressing movie...

It's ok by me if you don't get one of the greatest films of all time. It doesn't make me look foolish at all. You on the other hand....

Dances With Smurfs - Yes, it was pretty to look at, but every character was a stereotype, all the dialogue horrid, most of the acting wooden, and a script re-used several times over the years. I enjoyed all of Cameron's other films, and was ready to love this one, but it was the worst film of the year for me.
