TDK. I think I've seen Batman Begins twice and I likely won't watch it again anytime soon. I've seen TDK 2-3 times as well and continue watch some of it if I come across it while channel surfing.

Dark Knight, solely because watching Joker and Dent/Two-Face on screen are absolutely fantastic

Batman and Robin

I like them both, but I'll end up re-watching TDK more often. But neither as much as the first Burton film.

I vote for Batman Begins though I think both are great.

I voted for Batman Begins.

But for me it's actually Batman Returns

The Dark Knight. I honestly cannot fathom how anyone would choose Batman Begins as a more re-watchable movie.

The Dark Knight is a near perfect modern crime masterpiece. The only major thing that pulls us out of that feeling is Two Face. That said, I'd still give it the edge, even though Batman Begins is just as brilliantly paced. Begins lacks the incredible emotion of the Dark Knight though; I still get chills during Batman's final monologue and feel an unintended (by Nolan) sadness throughout the Joker's final scene, due to obvious reasons.

What final monologue? Did you mean Jim Gordon's final words to his son?

Batman Begins. I watched TDK twice and won't be watching it again. Not a fan.

You dont find the whole drama about the boat passengers not blowing the other up as ridiculous and something that would never ever happen in reality ? Not that Batman can exist in reality, but TDK being so serious ...

I also hated Gordons statement about Batman was the hero they deserved but not the one they needed right then. Why did they deserve batman ? And why didnt they deserve Harvey ?
I also detested the bullet reconstruction idea.

Batman Begins does a great job of keeping batman in the shadows, with the jumbled up fight scenes, batman carrying thugs into air etc --- really plays to the batman legend of fear and theatricality; making it more rewatcheable, even though TDK might be a better movie.

To me it means that a vigilante like Batman was an equal balance to the crime that Gotham has. With the corruption etc etc. It wasn't something that the Law could help bring down.

TDK is more rewatchable. It's also more "re-new-postable", apparently.

Bad choie of words, I mean't his final lines, the whole, "I'm not a hero, not like Dent. I killed those people."

I love TDK, but this was the weak part for me. There's no way that someone on the "good" people ferry wouldn't push the button on the criminals.

Re: More rewatchability: Batman Begins or The Dark Knight ?

I love both the films to death, both have qualities about them that I enjoy, but The Dark Knight has more replay value, simply because its not an origin story. That's why Iron Man has little replay value to me, because I don't want to watch the character become the hero over and over again. But considering, Batman Begins has quite a bit of replay value. I enjoy watching it every once in awhile.

Ah. Gotcha.

I do like that whole ending conversation.

To be honest, I was in the TDK camp until I watched them back to back and found myself enjoying BB much more. TDK is just a touch "off" and the Joker doesn't hold up as a villain. R'as Al Ghul was a better dark reflection for Bruce than some random sociopath (clever though he may be).

Also, I found Dent and Gordon far more compelling than Bruce or the Joker (the latter two getting the bulk of the screen time).

Bruce felt more important in BB.
