yep, total over the top action the delivers each time... They know exactly what they are and just entertaining as hell. We all have guilty pleasures, this just happens to be one of them for a lot of us.

Where do you pick up the series in Part 5?
After Tokyo Drift where we last saw Dom with Lucas Black's character?
Or after Fast and Furious, which was a prequel to Tokyo Drift?

Well they could always pull a Resident Evil 3: Nemesis and have the first half of the movie take place beforeTokyo Drift and the second half take place after. Just add a re-enactment of Tokyo Drift's ending to the middle of the fifth movie but from Vin Diesel's perspective and have it end with Lucas Black joining the team.

I'm not trying to judge or feel superior. I was just genuinely surprised to see such enthusiasm here for these goofy movies.

The best time to use Han was in the last movie. Right now the only non-awkward way to use him would be during maybe 15 minutes of the first half of the movie and maybe some scenes of Han and Toretto getting back in touch (via phone maybe) during the events of Tokyo Drift (a'la Infernal Affairs III).

I haven't seen 3 and 4, but only because I was waiting for a box set to come out, now I guess I am going to have to wait a few years more.

Awesome. And anything to get Rock back in action movies.

Dwayne Johnson needs to do a serious action movie for a change and I'm all for him joining this movie. Enough of the Disney/Stupid kid flicks or the comedy-action flicks. I think if he wants to be taken seriously by his fans as a movie star, he needs a few straight forward action flicks with no goofy sidekicks or whatever.

That would be awesome if The Rock was cast. This series is a guilty pleasure of mine. While the first film was great the rest of the sequels have been goofy fun. They really need to work on their titles though.
